I came home visiting here in Waco on February 24, 2018 at 5:04pm and I stopped by this Home Depot to purchase some blinds, from a gentleman in the Department name Mr. Larry, and a dead bolt set in the Department where the door knobs etc. are located by a gentleman name Mr.Lynn. Both of these men were very helpful,kind, patient,informative about the products I was purchasing, and gave excellent customer service. Keep up the good work. I recommend this Home Depot to those looking for great customer service!!!
I came to this Home Depot on April 22, 2020 from Houston Tx. to celebrate my moms birthday on the 23rd. There were many things I needed to repair for my mom at her home, and had little time to do it. When I came to visit the store, this time around I needed help in plumbing, with air filters, and light bulbs. When I asked for help in plumbing, the person who was suppose to get me help never came back or the person they was suppose to find for me never showed up. But I ran into this gentleman who mentioned his name was William H. who said he works in the garden department. This man was very patient, kind, and very helpful. This employee you have working with this company, is an exceptional worker. I wanted to get this experience to corporate, but it would not let me, because the time frame has passed and has expired. But who ever is the store manager of this store please make sure it gets to corporate, and that this gentleman gets recognized for providing excellent customer service.👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
On Saturday September 20, 2025 I came to this location to find an outside bulb for my mother's house. When I first walked in I was greeted and asked how could I be assisted. Ms. Jennifer who is assistant manager was that person and I must say she was phenomenal!!! She was very kind and helpful. At first we could not locate that particular bulb, but she went above and beyond, by going the extra mile to help me find the bulb I needed over thousands of bulbs. Read morePurchased a refrigerator and dishwasher and delivery date was scheduled. Received multiple emails confirming the delivery over the next month. Removed the old refrigerator as requested in emails. Woke up the morning of the scheduled delivery to an email that was sent in the middle of the night letting me know that my items were on back order and that it would be another two weeks before they would be delivered. After multiple phone calls, I was connected to manager Eddie. I explained to him that if he couldn’t make this right, I would cancel my order and purchase my appliances from a competitor. He responded by placing the blame on GE and stated that Lowes wouldn’t have the products in stock either. He offered me a 10% discount for the inconvenience of my wife and I taking off work and wasting our time trying to get their mistake resolved. Spent 3 hours being passed around from department to department each one placing the blame on someone else. Asked for a corporate # from every associate that I spoke with to try and get their mistake escalated/resolved and was given a different # each time. None of them were the right #. This whole experience was a nightmare and a huge waste of time. Turns out, Manager Eddie was wrong about Lowe’s not having the appliances in stock. Occasionally, like anywhere you run into something, but for the whole (like 99% of the time) I encounter great employees, service and products. I had a minor issue with my previous order and Josie at Customer Service went above and beyond to not only resolve the issue but create a great customer service experience and have me leaving flipped from being a little inconvenienced/annoyed to feeling so thankful and happy that I shop at this HD where they not only take care of their customers and have friendly staff but create an environment of shopping loyalty. I also shopped over in garden and was looking lost, did not ask for help but an associate saw me down an aisle and came to me … came TO ME… asking if I needed anything. I did a horrible job explaining but she took me right to what I needed. Time and again from their curbside pickup to the paint area lady who is always extra cheerful and throughout the store, again I’d say this is one of the best HDs I’ve shopped at. I commute between Dallas and Waco weekly and I have a Lowes slightly closer in Waco, but because of this service I usually make the effort to get my items here (from the Bellmead HD) over competitors or Dallas locations.
