This hole in the wall is a great treat! I've never had any Mexican desserts so went here with the goal of trying out Mexican ice-cream. Ended up getting a Mangonada AND Esquites. Definitely very different. The mango ice cream in the mangonada was super yum, creamy, and fresh! And the Esquites definitely had a kick. I've heard they have great tacos too, so will be going back for that :)

These are all the wonderful ice creams that they have, plus more They also have all kinds of fruits that you can build your own fruit salad. It's a wonderful place and their customer service was great. But no seating is the only problem, other than that it was wonderful place that I definitely want to go again & you need a mask to go in.

I had a friend recommend me this place and it did not disappoint whatsoever. I got empanadas de rajas that has poblano, cheese, and potatoes. I got full with just that plate. The agua fresca was very refreshing and it tasted amazing. They also offer a variety of desserts but I was too full to order anything more.

These are all the wonderful ice creams that they have, plus more They also have all kinds of fruits that you can build your own fruit salad. It's a wonderful place and their customer service was great. But no seating is the only problem, other than that it was wonderful place that I definitely want to go again & you need a mask to go in.

When I travel with my hubby, I try to seek out small mom/pop type places to eat. I was going to another restaurant when I came upon Mango Loco. This is legit, authentic. The verde sauce has a bite to it, and makes the enchiladas that much better. Plus they are homemade corn tortillas. The beans are perfectly done with that "made with love taste". Rice is always tricky at restaurants, but when rice pops open then I know it will be good. This was a happy mistake and the the staff was so friendly so that...

Ive ordered from Mango Loco for about two years. It's easily the best Mexican food in Lafayette. Consistently good. There is one man (not sure of his name) and one woman in there EVERY DAY. They each personally make sure the food is delicious and that my takeout orders are correct and include plasticware, limes, salsa, etc. This is small, family-owned, hidden gem tucked away in a little strip mall...
