Anastasia Boutique — Local services in Laguna Beach

This is my first time writing a review. Few reasons - I don’t have the time and you always want to give people the benefit of the doubt, people can have a bad day. This time I’m making an exception after reading some of the other reviews. The way he treated my wife and daughters it was not only bad customer service, it was evil. Just a little back story below.

This was our first time visiting California which we chose for our 25 year wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived to LA up until this moment it was a great experience so for those reading please understand that this review is not a reflection of our whole experience but just a bad apple. The person/owner of this store was not only rude and disrespectful but also cruel. That morning we had just arrived to the area, because it was our first time visiting we parked in a parking lot far from the area so once I realize my error I asked my wife and kids to visit some stores while I was getting the car. When I came back to pick them up I noticed they where waiting for me outside while it was raining pretty bad. They were quit but didn’t mention anything to me at that moment. Come to find out later that this person had kicked them out of the store because “he knew they were not going to purchase anything and where just waiting for the rain to pass” and he was having his lunch and couldn’t “watch them”. My wife and kids are non confrontational people so they didn’t want to say anything to me because they were afraid that I may have go back to the store. They made the right choice. It’s crazy because the way they were treated is what you read online and the type of stuff that happens to others but you never think that it will happen to you.

To the owner of the store - you are not a good person, you hurt my family and spoiled an otherwise perfect vacation. It’s ok, we will move on.

Edited to answer the owner - what could you have done?? Let’s start with being a good host, kindness, good customer service, professional, etc. you work in the service industry. Maybe learn some manners perhaps?? Every time you walk into a store you are always looking but that could easily turn into a sale. You may not need our business to keep your store open and that’s ok. We took our business somewhere else. My daughter took her time to write a review about her experience and your response was to get a life. The thing is she does have a life including my family. One feel with love, empathy and grace something that you are lacking. You know what you did. Be better, do bette. 2024 could be a good year to start practicing manners and change. Every day is a chance to make a difference in this world so maybe don’t wait until 2024 and...

Spent my breakfast at the cafe the other morning where Kiko was kind enough to prepare my order. The omelette and the orange juice by far has been the cleanest prepared meal Ive experienced outside the home where I live less than half an hour away.

Amir, whom made himself and business available to me upon short notice over the phone; presented to me the remaining stock of the Ann Demeulemeester ceramics which I have gifted to cherished friends of past.

During my brief visit of the boutique Amir sent me off with his best and warm wishes as he walked with me out the door. Anastasia boutique also stocks many of my favorite designers and brands such as: Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester, Issey Miyake, Undercover and more.

Looking forward to shopping online and revisiting Amir; Kiko; and introducing myself to the rest of the staff...

First things first, the place serves breakfast til 3 PM!! This is amazing considering most other places are done at 11am, which on a weekend is like shutting down \at 9am. Second, freshly squeezed orange juice!! Again, considering most places around will give you something they bought from the grocery store this is a huge plus, no breakfast is complete without this. The place is cool it's not too big but it is Laguna after all, I took my friends who came to visit from Rio de Janeiro and they loved it! It's now my go to place in Laguna for breakfast or coffee.
