We were walking back to our car to make the drive back to the South Bay and we pass Slice. Well lit rustic interior and people eating pizza and salads. We actually walked passed and I ask you want pizza. He says I don’t want to eat it here. I say will each have a slice and drive back. It’s pizza it will keep! My husband orders just cheese I ordered the stockpile with bacon and sausage to go with the pineapple, prosciutto, arugula, Parmesan Reggiano and mozzarella. We have to wait for the pizzas to be made and baked and I see something that looks like chocolate pudding with whipped cream on top. Since we had to wait we had dessert first. The chocolate budinos was rich and very chocolaty and did not last long while we waited in the outdoor seating for our pizzas. Our pizzas were brought out to us. We finished our walk to the car and each had a slice. I could have kept eating but I was the driver this trip. We had another Slice when we got home. Still good and yummy. We will go back. Read moreThe pizza is good, but one of the girls working this afternoon was incredibly rude, specifically the one that helped us. I have autism and sometimes I have issues with speech. The girl with the pink hair and tattoos was very impatient, rude, and snapped at me when I needed a minute to say what I wanted on my pizza. There was nobody behind us in line and the restaurant was empty, so when I asked for a second because I was struggling to form words and speak them, there shouldn't have been any problem. My mom explained that I have autism and asked for a minute so I could think, but the girl snapped and said "well do you just need me to decide for you?" and rolled her eyes when my mom had to help me because I was still struggling.
My mom and I have been here a few times and normally everything is great, so if the girl with the pink hair is not working next time we're in town, we might try again, but if she is I think we'll go somewhere...
Read moreThis is a great place to get pizza. The pizzas are 11 inch rounds of thin, crispy crust and freshly made sauces that are amazing. It is set up so that you can either choose a menu pizza or make your own through choosing toppings from a toppings bar. I often see a handsome young man named Lando who is super helpful and sweet. Tip him well, folks, he is literally the most helpful person in the store who will greet you warmly when you enter the store.
The beer tap is my favorite feature. Have you wanted to try every beer on tap but not get too full of beer and leave no room for pizza? Ever been indecisive about beer? Well, now you can try everything! You can tap into local craft beer at around $0.50 an oz, or kombucha and wine using a key fob that is tied to your tab and pay only for what you pour! Wife can't handle a whole beer? Get your princess a half glass and pay for just that. Bring your appetite for beer and pizza...
