It’s Been a while!

A year, two or three…….. I’ve forgotten.

It’s like time had disappeared into the Jamacan ether. If you know what I mean, ja man!

I decided to drop in after some time and see what ……. “is!”

Last time, I didn’t have the “experience” and this time, I did!

I was greeted by Viviana.

Four solid gold Rasta Stars, four golden Irie stars dance in a Caribbean Constellation.

She was great and had a bit of everything. I kept thinking shortstop; she didn’t miss anything!

I asked for caramelized onions, done!

She brought my dish out and dropped a salsa; she ran back to the kitchen and gave me two more; I felt compelled to tell her, ja wasn’t the king, man!

No matter!

She smiled, and the vibe was genuine!

I sat back in Mario’s grotto, enjoying the food.

When I came the first time, it was a bit like Beverly Hills and New York City, and the place wasn't fusion, but this time it was!

Soft Rosta music was playing, and a lovely host was tasting the food, man!

I don’t always taste the food if you know what I mean, but this food had spirit and lived up to the promise!

I kept looking at this slogan hanging from a pole in the grotto:

As He is trying to deflect the point i am making. He is comparing tofu to spam, but the honest truth is, that i am a vegetarian, and to us vegetarians tofu, does not come from the murdering of animals. ))))) And the fact that he detested my comment means he has no intention into looking into an alternative to killing animals and he wants to finish the conversation with the "one love" slogan, The most selfish explanation I've ever heard for the term 1 love is the fending the murdering of meat over tofu.

The food was meh. Definitely not worth the price. But honestly that would have been fine if not for the woman at the window having 0 customer service skills. We came here happy and chilled out from the beach and she was incredibly rude. My boyfriend (native spanish speaker) tried to speak spanish to grease the communication wheels a bit but she continued to glare and be totally unhelpful. Even my 7 year old daughter noticed! We thanked her and went to wait for our food thinking at least we'd get some good grub but then the food arrived (including the wrong drink) and, well, disappointing. Stale chips and a bare minimum taco. I swear there was no seasoning. I never even leave reviews but I felt totally ripped off after spending $50 for this. Go elsewhere if you can, there are great tacos all...
