Good prices but customer service is severely lacking. Let me paint the picture: I'm a new first time mom. I was having a bit of a rough morning with the baby blues and decided to go shopping for some work attire as my maternity leave is coming to end in a few days. Figured it would make me feel better. Everything was going alright when I went to pull my phone out of my pocket and noticed my car key had slipped out of its sleeve and was missing. I went looking for it with no luck and asked an associate if she could ask if anything had been turned in.
Here were my negative interactions:
After she called some of her coworkers they all briefly looked around and one of them said loudly "I mean if it was my friend I'd be tearing this place up looking for it" while laughing. Wow, that made me feel great. I was within earshot and she didn't even realize it but good to know that she wasn't going to help me.
I went up front to ask if they could maybe make an announcement to let people know to turn the key in if they found it. Lady there who I think was one of the managers said "we are all looking for it" Let me repeat that no one was looking for it anymore at this point. They did for a couple of minutes and went back to their duties. I asked again and she said "no we don't make those types of announcements" 🙄 real helpful.
Eventually after spending a good amount of time on my hands and knees looking for my key by myself with no success, I decided to pay for my things and leave but wanted to leave my # in case someone found it. Male manager came up and he said he'd leave a note to have the night crew look around for it and suggested i could come back when they open. I told him the unnecessary comments the associate had made and he just laughed.
He didn't even have the decency to say: Sorry about that, here's my name if you need anything, I'll make sure we try to locate it. Nothing.

Read moreThis is the second time I'm trying to leave a review for the Laguna Niguel Nordstrom Rack. First, this place is always a huge mess. I understand it's a discount venue (even though many of the items still cost a pretty penny), but if a store is going to have the name "Nordstrom " attached to it, it should be clean and neat. Second, one has to be a defect detective. Just when I think I've found something nice, I see there's a small tear, a button missing, a stain, or something else that ruins it for me. Finally, the return policy is garbage. I tried to return two dresses, never worn, tags still on, and I had the receipt. It was past the 45 days, and I was told no. I made it clear that I wasn't looking for a credit on my Nordstrom card, that I really only wanted store credit so I could get something I like. The store would not have been out on any revenue, and I likely (because market research suggests this to be true) would have ended up spending even more than what the store credit was for. I was told, no. Now I have two dresses that I will never wear. And another thing I will never do is shop at this Nordstrom Rack, ever again. I have not decided whether or not I will visit a different Nordstrom Rack location, but I doubt it since I expect the same level of customer service and courtesy that I receive when I go to a regular Nordstrom store, and it's...

Last week I returned a product and was told by the associate working on Sunday evening (9/4), because I initiated the return online with the option to return to closest store (as I always do) she cannot print a return confirmation and everything should be fine. When I insisted on a return confirmation she called customer service and they told her over the phone I will receive my refund, but they are also not able to send me a confirmation or print it out. It seemed very weird to me and normally I always received a confirmation when I returned something at the store. Fast forward, I did not receive a refund. Contacted Nordstrom Rack customer service and they told me the store has to take of this. Store insists on me coming in and cannot help me over the phone.
