They are so ridiculous with their salsa rules here that it makes it unenjoyable to order from them. If you order one item you get 2 tiny side salsas. If you order 20 items you get the same 2 salsa. It makes no sense. If you order one item on Tuesday for full price (and not their special priced tacos) you only get 1 salsa because “it’s taco Tuesday”, but if you order the same item the next day, you get 2. If you ask for the salsa on the side from taco, you have to pay for it even though it was part of the taco description and it can make the taco soggy to have it on there and drive home. They are so stingy and so rude that I won’t go back there. I totally understand limiting the amount of salsa from a financial perspective, especially for a promotion like taco Tuesday tacos, but their “salsa policy” is far removed from Common Sense. Good business practices would make the amount of condiments proportional to what you order, especially when you’re spending more money at their business . Also, their service and tone of voice is really not nice and it’s very obvious that they could care less whether you return as a customer . There are plenty of other local places to support that don’t have this rude and condescending attitude. This has happened to many time and the food isn’t even worth the...
Read moreMexican food is not good. The place has no where to sit inside. So sitting outside with the flies is not fun at all always fanning them away. The tables outside are full of sticky residue and just awful. I ordered a carne asada burrito. Inside the bag were no napkins. This was not okay because the burrito fell apart into my palms. So this right away is a huge let down. Worst of all the flour tortillas was served almost raw. I expect the tortillas to have a golden brown appearance to bring out its unique taste. Then the beans. I got a bean burrito with specks of Asada, which hardly had any inside. I was so distracted by the raw flour tortilla that I could not enjoy what they served me here at Golondrina's. Their hot salsa was good. Unfortunately the carne asada burrito should stand alone and be great. This place also feels like quickie-mart. The Gringo hot sauces selling for $5 is not good because they sell at a regular grocery store for much cheaper. I would not recommend anyone to eat at this place unless they are catering their beans only because they tasted good with their hot salsa. Next time if I need to grab a bean burrito this is the place. Carne asada burrito was a huge...
Read moreI walked in on a Thursday afternoon. No one waiting in line. I asked if they had any specials going on today. They lady behind me looked at me unamused and said with an attitude “everything is special” so then I ordered 3 items…a bean cheese burrito, a torta and a fajita burrito. During my wait a single customer walks..3 minutes later she her order. Then 3 full grown working men come a few minutes and they all order individually and a few minutes later they receive their food. So I politely ask what’s taking so long how come everyone else is getting their food before us. She with an attitude says the fajitas take a while …if they take that long…wouldn’t you let your customers know that little detail? Also on they way out I can here her and the lady employee laughing and giggling making it seem very unprofessional and I feel they were laughing at me. The bigger set lady is the one with the attitude and I won’t be coming back to this location again nor recommending it to others as well I discourage anyone from coming here. You get better customer service at a chipotle or Taco Bell. Taqueros on Marguerite is not bad and they have a great taco...
