My family and I were in the area. I decided to stop in to get a new purse, but ended up leaving in less than 10 minutes. From The moment we walked in and went to the purses a worker literally hovered over my shoulder. She asked a thousand times if I needed help. We told her politely several times we were browsing for a purse and will let her know when we find one. Everywhere we moved she moved and would fiddle with the purses near us while staring at us. I found a lovely bag that I thought I may get, but wanted to continue to look in case I found another one. However, she came over and told me where to find inexpensive purses." Umm..ok? Thanks." Then I moved to another rack because she was literally standing over me. Then she followed me to that rack standing over me. I was gonna buy one of your $400 MK bags with a matching wallet but you lost my business. We left. I'd rather go buy another handbag from the Michael Kors store when I get back home in Virginia. All the bags I was looking at were locked up, please tell me how I could possibly take them? Your employee was treating us...
Read moreLindsey Miller, our sales constant at the Clinique Bar, was not only impatient when walking us though the products and our purchase, but “helped” us with a rude and sarcastic attitude. I’m a pretty mellow person, but her behavior was enough to set me off because how condescending her demeanor was. After asking for the supervisor (honestly just so we could have someone that was much nicer help us), her attitude mellowed out as if she was trying to pick up the pieces. Lindsey said that she didn’t work in that department and was unfamiliar with the products we were asking about, but even with that, the least I was asking for was a good attitude from any sales consultant. If you’re going to work, then treat your customers like human beings. She claims she was just bing firm, but I promise you I know the difference between that and attitude . The interaction resulted in a very negative experience at our time at Dillards, so if you’re looking for consultants that actually care about the customer, I suggest you taking your...
Read moreMost of the staff was great except the men's shoe section. I was in for a tie clip and wandered into this section because there were 2 employees just standing there. When I was checking out he said "is someone else in the other section" Felt like I was harassing him. Just wanted to pay. I was checking out the Flag shoes but Son also wanted to buy swim trunks but they didn't ring up so he sent us elsewhere. We were in the men's cremieux section and the gal over there was friendly and helpful. We then went upstairs where my wife was shopping near the Calvin Klein section. The gal at the register was awesome and helpful. In fact almost every employee asked us how our day was going. The store was clean and well maintained. If I lived in this area, I would come here all the time. We also bought a necklace in the jewelry section. Again the staff was helpful...
