This is a review of customer service and not the actual products. I went in and bought several things including a case of beer. When I got home I looked at my receipt and realized they charged me for two of them. I called the manager that day and told him what had happened. He told me to come back in the next day with my receipt and that I could either get my money refunded, or pick up the additional case that I was already charged for. He told me that they were on sale if you buy two of them. The next day I came in and showed the cashier my receipt and said that I had spoken with this manager. I told her I would be picking up the second case that I already paid for. She went ahead and called him and he said he would come over to talk to me. I waited 10 minutes.The cashier from the day before recognized me, came over and asked me what was the problem. I told her the story and she seemed to be in disbelief she had charged me for 2. At that point she began interrogating me and wanted to look at the receipt and that she would need to look at the video footage. Still waiting. Both cashiers made mention they could hear the manager making small talk but that was his typical MO. When he finally managed to mosey over he began interrogating me about the phone call we had had yesterday. As if it never occurred. Finally in a strange move he decided to refund yesterday's two cases of beers and then charge me again today for the two cases of beer. Which made no sense but whatever. I just wanted to get out of there. As I was leaving, the cashier from the day before asked me why he refunded me the money from yesterday and charged me again today. I told her I did not know. She began yelling for the manager to come over as if he had made a mistake. I told her look I already paid for everything can I just go now? It's taken long enough for what should have been a very simple thing to do and I had my little kid with me. They made me feel like a criminal when it was their mistake. It also seemed like the manager was making me jump through hoops because I was inconveniencing him over what his cashier had done. I'm going back to the friendlier Stater Brothers location that's a little further away and never returning...
Read moreOriginally got a job here as courtesy clerk however I had to wait to receive my 2 forms of ID (my drivers license and my social security card) which was already on the way and Luis the manager said it was no problem and to just let them know when I receive them so they can get their copies of them. Eventually I get them in the mail and immediately go to stator bros and hand them to a manager and he goes into the back room and then 5 min later Luis the main manager comes out very angrily with glazed red eyes and holds up my DL and my SSN and rudely says "WHATS THIS?" ,Me being confused I for a second thought he must've thought they weren't the correct forms of ID then in a very rude tone tells me he already hired someone and that he assumed I was gunna come the next day to bring the documents (even though I literally told them before they were being mailed and would take 1-2 weeks ). And keep in mind I kept following up with stator bros and called the them multiple times and talked to a manger to let them know I was still interested and I was still waiting for the documents in the mail and all the managers said "no problem just let us know when you receive them". I honestly think Mr. Luiz was intoxicated with marijuana or maybe even alcohol and must have forgot everything I have told him. Either way he was super rude and unprofessional and again...
Read moreI stopped by the pastry area to pick up a cake. The condensation in the display made it hard to make out which price tag applied to the cake.
The young lady behind the counter said, it would be the one to my left... that was the lower of the two.
She took my cake and made the happy birthday writing on it pretty nice but, she gave me the cake at the wrong price.
When I went back yo the counter, she did not come out, it was another young lady. She was rude and dismissive even when I pointed out, I was told a price which I even stated out and the initial kid agreed.
She went away and the initial young girl came out, all I asked was to get my price corrected, it wasn't about the money, it was about the principle.
She came out minutes later with a tag that has the correct price.
"I just have to tell you I didn't know price had changed so... my bad" is all I got but with an attitude. The store manager promised he'd talk to them both but, the level of service was off, way off
