El Toro & Trabuco — Local services in Lake Forest

Well, they wouldn't let me pee because it was too close to closing time and I guess they didn't want the risk of me blowing up the plumbing right before a holiday, but I did get a free cookie because I made my sandwich a combo as a courtesy. Rocked out a solo appearance at Saddleback Church and then stopped in for some Christmas Eve grub at Subway. Tuna and pepper jack on toasted jalapeno with spinach and onions and cucumber and tomatoes with a dash of salt and pepper and aioli. A diet coke washed it down and broccoli and cheddar soup was the side. My days of hitting the bars are long past. I enjoy a more tame approach to holiday eve traditions. Healthy-ish foods and Christmas music on the radio after church seem like a plausible start to Christmas this year. Tomorrow, cookie time!...

There is a Bank of America and a pet store on one end, and a gas station and a Del Taco on the other end near the Trabuco/ El Toro intersection. In the middle is a small grocery store that keeps getting its name changed, a Mr. Wok that has been there since I went to High school, and Quicksilver Coin shop which I love to go to. Also there is a Lamppost Pizza place that's great for get-togethers...

I never get this but got a chicken quesadilla last night and it was so greasy however was starving so ate it. 10 minutes after I ate Del taco I was bend over in pain with horrific cramps and I was getting cold sweats and fainting. I eventually got sick and had food poisoning. I will not be coming back to eat at any Del tacos going future. Sanitation needs to improve so others don’t...
