Freeport Computers — Local services in Lake Jackson

Had a LOT of uncommon issues with my PC, most namely:

1. BSOD's and programs opening and closing randomly
2. Bloatware
3. Malware
4. PC cleaning

Issues 1 and 2: I had BestBuy in Lake Jackson put together my PC for me, but ever since then, I've been facing innumerable BSOD's (mainly when closing out of games like Helldivers 2), weird glitches (Discord opening and closing sometimes), and a LOT of what seems to be bloatware. I suspect that a big cause, is that my CPU is faulty (one of the faulty Intel i9's)

Issue 3: I visited a website I shouldn't have and downloaded a pirated copy of various Adobe software onto my PC. I got a keylogger who stole my usernames and passwords, but I've changed the passwords, logged out of all sessions, and I temporarily downloaded malware bytes to remove apparent malware.

I seem to be in the clear, as this occurred a while ago, but I suspect that I still have some form of malware lurking on my PC, so I had him diagnose, and remove the things he found.

Issue 4: Lots of dust and dog hair probably. I reckon it needs a cleaning.

After getting back my PC, the Gentleman confirmed that despite using Microsoft Defender to get rid of any apparent viruses, he found hijackers in my browsers, some dormant malware, etc. etc. He's made my PC run as if it's factory-fresh! No more visiting sketchy websites and downloading pirated software without the proper protections set in place for me!...

The technician that I spoke with was very nice and helpful. Even though the problem was not fixed. He still helped. I was texting and sending videos the whole time and he never gave up on helping me. He spent the whole day trying to figure out what the problem was and we both agreed that maybe just maybe it might be time to get a new printer since mine is 3 years old and has been printing everyday. Maybe it’s needs a deep deep clean or maybe like everything else in life you need to update or upgrade on electronics. I would highly recommend this company to help with your electronics.
