Anna's Bridal: I had a great experience buying my wedding dress from this boutique! They were professional, organized, and smooth. I worked directly with the owner, and she was so knowledgeable, helpful, and prompt in every interaction. Even though I came in knowing exactly what I wanted, she encouraged me to try on a few different styles just to be sure—and I really appreciated that thoughtful approach. No pressure, just genuine care.

Despite living out of town, the team was always accommodating with my schedule—sometimes booking months in advance, and other times squeezing me in last minute. My dress arrived exactly on time, and looked exactly how it was supposed to as I had made a few changes.

The only hiccup was with my veil. I had placed the order with both my parents present, and none of us were made aware that there was a strong chance it might not arrive before the wedding. If any of us had known, we absolutely would’ve explored faster shipping or other options. It was frustrating to find out 5 days before the wedding while picking up the dress that we had supposedly been told this risk. We were absolutely not told, and that was a pretty disappointing response from such a professional business. The owner had a try-on veil set aside as backup, but my actual veil showed up the day before my wedding. Initially I was asked to come pick it up but when I informed her that was not possible - because I do not live by Lake Oswego, my wedding is not by there and I had wedding relate plans - she offered to drive it out to me. That gesture meant a lot and really helped ease the stress of the situation.

All in all, I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for top-tier service and quality. Just a small note of advice: double-check shipping timelines before finalizing your order, so everyone is on the same page. But truly—this is an amazing business, and I’ll be recommending them to all my friends!!

In house Seamstress: I had a really great experience with the wedding seamstress in the shop. She's extremely knowledgeable, and I always felt like I was in good hands. What I especially appreciated was how communicative she was throughout the entire process. Before she made any changes or adjustments, she always asked about my vision and made sure we were on the same page. Even when she was just adjusting the fit, she explained everything clearly before making any cuts or alterations. That kind of transparency made me feel really comfortable and confident in her work.

The only issue I had — and it was a bit of a surprise — was with the straps on my dress. She had been very detailed with me about every other change, so I was really caught off guard when I came back after a few months and discovered that the straps had been tightened without my knowledge. I understand she likely did this to keep them from falling down, but unfortunately, they ended up being too tight. I only had the dress on for five minutes and already had a red line on my neck and I knew I wouldn’t be able to stand wearing it like that all day. Even though they were to tight when I was standing up - they fell down when I practiced dancing - so tightening did not help.

To her credit, when I brought it up, she listened and was able to loosen them again. I explained that I didn’t mind if the straps slipped a bit while dancing — my dress was fitted enough to stay up on its own — and she respected that. But I was still disappointed that a change was made without checking in, especially given that for some other dresses lengthening the straps would not be possible. That said, I would still absolutely recommend her to others and plan to return to her for any future...

I recommend purchasing your dress from Anna’s Bridal but would never recommend you leave it there for any sort of alteration. I had a horrible experience with them altering my wedding dress. The sides they had taken it in were bunched up with thread hanging all over not to mention that it fit me like a tent, which was not the look that I was going for or how the dress was made to fit, however, the owner kept saying that I didn't even need it taken it and it fit me perfectly. I inquired on the work that was done and the fit and got absolutely no where with the shop, in fact I was given a ridiculous look and sternly told that it was a wedding dress. I was made to feel like an idiot (not normally something one wants to feel) I was rushed in and out for my fittings and never had any real positive customer service until I asked to take my dress as I was unhappy with their work, in which I had no confidence that they would truly perform the work I was asking for or listen to any of my requests. I took my dress to a tailor down the road know as Tailor & Alteration Specialty of which I HIGHLY recommend for all of your alterations. I had to pay for them to completely re-alter my dress, literally everything that I had just paid Anna’s to do. They had to take more in on the sides (2 inches worth), 2 inches off of the back, redid the bustle as it wouldn’t lay correctly (Anna’s stated that it would fix itself when I moved around), sewed the belt/sash on that I had requested Anna’s do and they advised I didn’t need it done. The only thing that they couldn’t fix was the hem (which brought tears to my eyes it was so horrible), Anna’s had cut the bottom of my dress while it was on me then brought the lace up to the proper length and poorly reattached it. I was so overwhelmed by the whole ordeal that I completely forgot to take before and after pictures, of which I deeply regret because words will never be enough. If you are insistent to leave your dress with Anna’s be sure to give yourself plenty of time to have it fixed in the event that it doesn’t turn out as planned. I am not great at leaving reviews, however, I am one to read reviews before going to a new place or buying a new product, so I am working on it and feel obligated to share my story so other brides that are on a budget and are looking to feel and look amazing on their wedding day can hopefully avoid going through the same horrific experience...

Anna and her team are absolutely amazing, I cannot speak more highly of my experience overall. First off, I am from Seattle, and specifically sought out Anna's shop because they are the only shop for miles, maybe states even, that carries Hayley Paige (on a side note, for how many amazing designers they carry, Anna's Bridal does not disappoint with trunk shows!).

I drove 3 hours for my first appointment during a trunk show to Portland and it was the best decision I've ever made: the consultant pulled her choices, while listening to my opinions and pulling the dresses I wanted from the new line. She let me try on my favorites first and after a few dresses and standing in a mermaid HP gown: the Yoko, I let the consultant know exactly what I loved and didn't necessarily liked about each dress, the consultant said, "I believe I have the perfect gown for you, but it's not up front, it's in the back" - she quickly ran, grabbed it and changed me into it - it was perfect - it was EVERYTHING I described and wanted, but didn't realize I was looking for. This HP was an older Blush line gown, and absolutely stunning, even complete with spaghetti straps and low drop back. I was so pleased by the consultants knowledge of the dresses/line and patience and how she was truly listening me - the customer service was flawless.

I bought the dress that day. When Anna asked me about fittings, I asked about weekends, and she said that they don't schedule fittings on the weekends - after letting her know how I traveled to her specifically, she let me schedule all 4 of my fittings into ONE DAY, so I could save my PTO. Now, my review for the fitting? Holy cow, these women are magicians. I am 5'2", 120lbs, size B chest, and wanted to take out A LOT of tulle: my first appoint ran 2 hours just to get measurements 10:30am - 12:30pm, and that was just taking out tulle, getting the right height and the straps.I came back at 3:30pm, and oh my gosh, what a difference: less poofy, I could walk, but my chest wasn't right. Back at 5:30 for my final fitting, and these women FINISHED my alternations, AND found me my veil I picked out IN STOCK.
