My husband and I were looking for a place in the neighborhood to go for a relaxing Sunday afternoon cocktail. We'd both heard about Randall's and had been there once when it was Parlor a few years ago. So we decided to give it a try. Well, I'm glad we did. They have a great beer and cocktail list, the bartender was really friendly (always a sign of a good bar) and so were the patrons. It was really telling also that they have a board on the wall listing what their regulars usually order, a sign that they value and recognize people who come in often. Some bars just serve you and give you your check. But I prefer to go to places that treat you like your business is important. Oh, and the most important part. We both ordered mixed drinks. I’m definitely not a Malort drinker but tried my boyfriend’s Malort highball and I was delightfully impressed, it was delicious. Chicago Sazerac was also a well made drink I recommend.
