I learned about this amazing organization at a community event. I met Yordanka whom provided information about the agency and their programs. As a little background, I’ve accepted a new job position in the city which meant moving to a new home and school. My child transferred to a new school & was having a hard time adjusting to this drastic change. Learning about Centro Romero came in perfect timing as I was looking for a Youth program to enrolled my child who was having a difficult time academically & socially at school. Since I’ve enrolled my child in the Youth program, my child has excelled in school academically, his behavior and self esteem has increased tremendously, and he has made new friends. His school teachers have noticed a positive change as well. The youth program has tutors that help him with his homework and then they do other extracurricular activities together. These include going to the park, art, reading , etc. My child is always so eager to attend the program after school. I’m super thankful and grateful for his Youth mentors, Ms. Elaniz who my son loves very much. He speaks so highly of her all the time. The Youth program is supported by other amazing staff members whom I’ve personally met and can speak on: Ms. Yordanka , Ms. Corin, and Ms. Veronica. Overall, I highly recommend the youth program to any parent looking to enroll...

I would have missed a huge life...
