This place sucks! Get there with a group and cant see rated r movie because my friend is 17 and they told us you have to be 18. So we pick something else and they lady gave me 3D. I payed with a gift card before i saw and ask for refund because i dont like 3D. See told me it wasnt 3D but handed me glasses. She didnt know how to refund it. At this point im ready to just leave. But i say, "fine." we go to see the 3D. I decide to read the policy during previews. It said under 17 couldn't see rated r and my friend was 17 not under. So now im pissed im watching a crappy movie i dont want to see in 3D and i couldve been watching the one i wanted! I talk to management and they refuse to refund and says the ticket lady was correct even though the policy says different. Im not going to argue or curse these people out. I will finish this crappy movie leave and never return. I will talk to corporate or or someone who can better explain. F.y.i they never asked the white people in from of us their age for the rated r movie and one was...
Read moreIf you want to guarantee your seat in the theater, you have to buy ahead on the website or app but then they charge you $2/ticket in convenience fees which I thought was absurd. They won't allow you to buy over the phone to avoid the fees, you have to go in person either ahead of time or risk not having the seats you want/need (we need the first rows because one member of our group can't climb the stairs).
It also would've been nice to know that there are different types of chairs in the theaters. We ended up buying tickets in the last row of the seats closest to the screen and they were your typical theater seats that fold up when you're not sitting in them but the rest of the theater had rocking seats that don't fold up. My kids kept getting folded up in thr seats, so lesson learned, we shouldn't buy those seats.
The theater itself was fine, relatively clean but nothing special. The screen had some marks on it that I could see even while the movie played so it was annoying to me but no one else in our...
Read moreI remember when The Regal was brand new in the mid-90s. It looks as if it hasn't been updated since, but that is reflected in the great ticket prices. Food costs the same as every other theater. I chose to come here with my young kids because there aren't recliners or reserved seating. Buying tickets online was not difficult. You check in at the concession stand, which is probably difficult during busy movie times, but we went to the matinee so it wasn't a problem. Maybe they do the regular ticket counters during the busy times? If they don't it seems like it would be really easy to sneak in for free, but they probably have more staff at those times. There's some arcade games, too, but not a ton. I would definitely recommend if you want the basic movie experience with good prices. If you care about aesthetics and want the upgrades, this is not the place to go. Great place to...
