Florida avenue location is one of the best, phenomenal staff, everyone is a team, helpful, courteous and happy. In our automated society it is rare indeed especially through COVID, to find to find what you need when you need it. Prices and coupons are always very good. Today's trip was in the photo department before Thanksgiving, not only was 'Kitty' amazing in the photo copying dept but she went above and beyond with a photo project for me in record time, off the chart service exceeding the bar on every level. Kitty YOU made the difference that week, cannot believe my review of you was delayed until today, several visits to your never disappoint, everything is where I can buy it now, photo dept. Very bad experience here...Store did not have in stock what we needed (file folders). So we ordered it online. They held up our cc because of a mismatch on address information. We called in and got a foreigner with a heavy accent (sounded like we were transferred to India or somewhere in South Asia). After spending time on the phone with a live agent he finally said that everything was taken care of and that we would receive an email about the fixing of the CC problem and also about our order. The next day no emails had been received. We checked in our account and nothing had changed. The order said 'unable to process' and had not processed properly. So whatever that guy did for us did not work. So we tried to email in. No email for customer support was available. Tried to contact corporate. No contact info available. The only option was to call back in and get another live person from another nation who was hard to understand. After wasting our time we finally ordered the item on Amazon. And believe it or not, it was less expensive and there was no problem placing the order or dealing with people who are hard to understand or who don't make it easy for us to do business with them. Good-bye Office Depot. Stricken from our vendor...

So I purchased HP ink online and I never got a confirmation to my email or a text message so I thought that was a little strange. I went to the store and they told me that it was being held because of possible fraud so I showed my ID and confirmed it was a legitimate purchase. The girl tried to call whoever she needs to call to get it released and I sat there for 35 minutes because nobody would answer on the other end so I asked her if she could simply cancel the sale and she did, But come to find out it takes five business days for the money to be returned back onto your card! They conveniently took it out within seconds of my purchasing it online but having to wait a week to get refunded? That’s ridiculous I will never shop at Office Depot again! By the way if it helps anybody out I had a similar incident with Best Buy a few months ago where I paid for the items online and when I went to pick them up one of the items was not in stock and they apologized and immediately refunded my card and the money went back on my card within seconds. Why does Office Depot have to make me wait a week? Meanwhile I’m out $200. Office depot must be using some type of archaic computer system! I’ll be doing all my shopping at Best...
