Gift Card Shop — Local services in Lakewood

(☆Update below: July 26th 2020☆) Want to start by saying customer service was second to none.... Went in on Saturday 12/28/19 around 6:30 and not only were they open but would be open till 10, most of these places close at 5 or earlier. I had called first just to make sure what I needed to bring with me and the lady(super friendly and polite) told me just my I.D. and the gift cards, so I was off. Got there and walked right in and was helped by the same awesome lady who I had talked to on the phone, gave her my gift cards and my I.D., she gave me a paper to sign and my I.D. back. By the time I finished signing and dating the paper she had cash in hand and a smile that would light up a room. I cant say enough about this place because a lot of places like this treat you poorly and make you feel like your inconveniencing them. Anyway long story short... they gave me more then 65% of value and was in and out within 5min. Will be back and will be recommending to anyone who wants to sell some gift cards.

Wanted to give an extra shout out to Lisa, she went above and beyond for me and I figured this was one way I could show my gratitude. So... Thank You again Lisa, it is employees like you that will keep me coming back...

I literally went to this place arriving at 9:50pm right before they were closing and being that there was two people in front of me and the place is so little I decided to stand outside and wait until the lady Lisa was done dealing with the two people that were ahead of me as I was standing outside Lisa walked out from behind the door and came to shut the light off I walked in right after her and she told me no sorry it's 10:00 I then had told Lisa that I had been standing outside for about 10 minutes already but being that it's so small in here I decided to stay on outside she was like oh well I don't know what to tell you I'm almost out of money anyways and shoot me off as if I was an animal or something she was very disrespectful and rude in my eyes very unprofessional so being that everybody else here at flip up is great besides Lisa she should be rated at zero because...

I had two new and unopened gift cards from Amazon, $25 & $75. I needed cash, so I took them to sell them. The person behind the glass asked if I had ever been there before, and I had not, so I told her no and she gave me an information form to fill out. She didn’t say anything else, she just proceeded to take the cards out of their sealed packets and typed on the computer. I was a bit surprised when she didn’t ask me if I agreed on the price since this was my first visit. Without even counting it out, she pushed cash through the window. She finally spoke her three final words to me which I thought were “sixty five dollars”. So I gathered the cash without counting it. I DEFINITELY should have counted it, and I blame myself for that. I had anticipated $65, a low amount still, but at least it would have been reasonable! $45 is NOT EVEN CLOSE...
