I was profiled here at this thrift store today. As I scanned the barcode to my item, the girl with the glasses at about 245pm, Sept 18, 2024, was watching only me buying the item I was getting. She looked to be young, like 19 or 20. As I looked at her by the corner of my eye she smirked and she acted as if she continued walking and she went back the other way to watch me. When I left the store I wanted to take back the item but I saw on the receipt that you can't do that only can return for merchandise value I believe. For used clothing and other items, they treat people badly and are stereotypical. I seen people with tote bags and they weren't even watching people with bags. I had only a wallet in my hand smh. I come here every week and it's not worth the experience of feeling less than. I will go to another thrift store, it isn't worth being treated like that as a paying customer. They only watch you if you are black. I went to the store 2 hrs later and there were people for ten minutes straight buying with no one in check out watching them or around them, as I was talking to a manager. I tried to overlook the mediocre prices just to possibly have an okay experience but I rather go somewhere else, where I don't have to watched at the self checkout isle. I understand that people must do their jobs but this was definitely intentional and extreme prejudice, because she made that obvious to me compared to the other people around me. I rather go to Goodwill or better yet ross. I hope workers here like that get fired. Never again coming here, not worth it If I have to go through...

YES, OVERPRICED! And grimy!! I put back most of the items I had picked out because of this. I overheard employees laughing amongst themselves about people complaining about the prices. There were about 5 employees in the checkout section standing around chatting and joking when I checked myself out. I purchased some pieces from set of glass tableware. It was expensive, so I didn't get the whole set. I asked one of the chatting employees for a box. She told me, "We have none to spare" and walked off. As I struggled and dropped items by the front door (you can't take your basket outside), the security guard stood right over me and watched without a word as I picked my stuff up off the ground. None of them helped. Despite finding something nice, It felt cringey and I felt kind of bad about spending my money here. SAVERS, You are making a bad name...

SCAMMERS SCAMMERS SCAMMERS THE NAME SHOULD BE CHANGED TO SCAMMERS. WATCH OUT FOR THE EMPLOYEES THEY DO NOT CHECK THE ITEMS IN BOXES BEFORE THEY ARE PUT ON THE FLOOR. I THOUGHT IT WAS THEIR JOB TO ENSURE THE ITEMS THEY SELL ARE LEGIT HOWEVER NOT AT SCAMMERS, GOT HOME AND THE ITEM WAS NOT IN THE BOX, CALLED TO EXPLAIN AND MANAGER SAYS... "ITS ON THE RECIEPT NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES." SCAMMED OUT OF MY MONEY, EVEN THE MANAGER COULDNT DO HIS JOB BY DEESCALATING THE ISSUE, HE SAID I SHOULDVE CHECKED BEFOREHAND SAID HAVE A NICE DAY AND HUNG UP. I WOULD NOT PRY OPEN THE BOX BEFORE PURCHASE WHEN ITS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO SELL ACCURATE ITEMS. NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN.
