Truck City CB Radio — Local services in Lakewood

To start off with .....$156 an hour for labor... absolutely ridiculous.... Next....they were supposed to order a radio for me.. never did.. I had to get it at the last minute on Amazon... guy who was supposed to order it never marked it on the calendar or called anyone. Next... I arrived there at 9:15 and left at 2:30. Most of the time spent waiting for the tech to answer calls from other customers, handle walk-ins.. etc. Charged me 2 hours labor for about 45 minutes of actual work on my coach.... I guess he added time he spent hunting for tools and walking back and forth from my coach to the shop. His multi-meter was dead... so he used one I fortunately had. One of those instances where you're in for a dime in for a dollar. I definitely should have asked for a quote up front.. that's on me.. but still ...

The upside.. the entire place including the surrounding "storage" yard is like something from a time warp.... ancient RV's, boats, cars and many trucks and very old semi-tractors.. seemingly in some kind of suspended animation... waiting for something .. who knows what. Bottom line... I would definitely...

We visited Truckcity CB today to get some tips and knowledge from someone who knows more about CB installation then we do before I install the Mobile Ham Radio in our Ford F350 Superduty that already had existing antenna mounts on the roof from the existing owner. Even tho they deal in CB's and not Ham Radio installation, the employee we spoke to was very informative in what I should do when I install our Ham Radio. He took the time to look everything over in our truck and I now know what to look for in an antenna and how to properly clean up the existing NMO mounting hardware in order to properly install the new antenna. I highly recommend Truckcity CB to take care of your CB needs. As far as the review left two months ago by another reviewer. Let me just start off saying, the gentleman I spoke with earlier today was not only helpful but very knowledgeable. Earlier I had called a nationwide CB radio company. Left a message explaining my circumstances. Got a call back and was treated extremely rude and. And was told that if I hadn't bought anything from them that they would not even consider helping me diagnose my issue. I even told the guy I was willing to buy something from them if they could help me figure out the problem. Very rude and disrespectful outfit "CB radio supply".
