For the umpteenth time I took a chance (for some reason) with a generic sounding teriyaki place in the Tacoma area. For the umpteenth time I'm left wondering why I expect anything different from these joints.

I ordered take-out, three items. Honey garlic chicken, chow mein (soft noodles with pork), and their chicken teriyaki. Three different types of foods, staples of most other teriyaki and Asian-labeled restaurants.

The chicken teriyaki is unremarkable in that it's exactly what you'd expect from a teriyaki place - no complaints though. If I had to say something, I'd say "Stop putting your sauce on top of the rice."

The Honey Garlic Chicken was a doozy - it was flavorful and didn't come contaminated with all kinds of stir-fried pungent vegetables. But it still suffers from the problem most Asian places have with breaded, fried, and sauced meats - they do entirely too much of the last part. There's really nothing worse than biting into something you expect to have some crunch and finding a soggy, overwhelmingly sweet sauce instead.

Finally, I ordered their "chow mein" but appear to have received a plate of yakisoba. The menu said "chow mein," but it definitely looks like yakisoba. The name is "chow mein," but the ingredients tell me yakisoba. I've not tried their yakisoba, so I presume it's different somehow, but I know it generally includes bigger vegetables like broccoli, carrots, and zucchini. Just like this Chinese dish they are serving at a Japanese-themed restaurant.

The quality of the food seems fine, and I always cut places slack for delivery. Food was prepared quickly enough. Two stars off for being entirely forgettable as a restaurant, two more stars for "meh" food, and their "chow mein." Would recommend as a quick lunch spot when you don't care about what you're eating and want to support (presumably - again I have not visited this joint) some first...

After a long rough day shopping on the bus I decided to pick up food for the family. I stopped here for the first time, I'm glad I did. Carrying in two large bags of groceries and a big backpack I was tired and not thinking. I messed up my order and by the time I realized my mistake, past of my food was done. Instead of having them take it back, I kept my original order and ordered the correct food. To my surprise, the food was done before I caught my breathe, went to get my food and the lady said something about my chow mein, being tired I didn't give it much thought. After arriving home, and putting everything away, I noticed I had a extra order of chow mein. I then realized she said, "I have you a extra order of chow mein" I was very overwhelmed and great full. Seeing how bad of a day I was having, it's nice to see people still care and help out. 😊 the food is well priced, friendly staff, clean place, fast service. I always try to be as honest as possible in my reviews, so I hope any negative impressions doesn'tmake it sound like I'm not appreciative.. The teriyaki sauce was a tad salty but still very good, the beef and chicken is very tender and not dried out. The rice was a little bland but good. And the chow mein was also very good. Overall I'm very pleased by my experience. The portion size is very generous, I was shocked that that the containers were actually full. They didn't skimp on the food. I will definitely be coming back. And to the lady that took my order, thank you so much for being so kind. Be safe and have...

Starting off, I don't know how this place has the reviews it does other than some people don't know what good food is.

My partner and I have had a busy day. Decided to DoorDash this place. I've had their bubble tea before but this is horrid.

Here's what we ordered -Bubble Tea x2: Watermelon and Honeydew with Rainbow Jelly . -Orange Chicken -Sesame Chicken -Gyoza x1

What I liked: Order was here fast .

What I didn't like: -Both of the chicken dishes are soggy with sauce. I almost don't taste any variation from either. That's supposed to be orange? -The sauce seems store bought. -There's no soul or love in the food. -The price we paid: High emotions, disappointed humans; one thats pregnant, and Fifty Dollars.

How is it 50 dollars tastes like something I can get from a gas station? I could make better with the prepackaged "chinese" chickens. I could have only spent 20 at the store and made something better. I could have spent 15 at Safeway and that's better than what's in our containers right now.

My bubble tea has deflated and broken in less than 10 minutes. Everything is mushy from the sauce and how the heck is the rice mushy?

If you live near, go somewhere else. The portion may be big but not worth the prices and disappointment.

Tl;Dr: horrid. Don't even try. I would have rather driven out to Puyallup to my favorite teriyaki place and it STILL would have been cheaper, better tasting and...

I love me some Asian food, and I have been to plenty of teriyaki places in the Lakewood area. But this is my absolute go-to when I don't feel like trying anything new and just want some fresh and reliably good food. Eggrolls, tell me a place that makes them better, I don't think there is one. All their fried rices are cooked fresh and to perfection. The chicken teriyaki... yummmmm. Their food is always served hot, and the portions are generous. Fried rice is packed to the brim. Their prices have gone up, like most food businesses. Since there are so many food pics, I am posting their most recent menu. I almost forgot. Both the ladies that work the front register are the sweetest. Also, the inside is pretty small, so we rarely eat in. I call in my order and it's ready for pick-up in 15. All around, truly great place!

This has been my #1 go to Teriyaki spot for YEARRRSSS!!!! I'm heartbroken that the last 2 times that I've ordered, the food has been absolutely disgusting and tasteless! I'm not sure if they have a new cook, but the food is different and not good anymore. The Teriyaki chicken sauce is so blah/no flavor now. The cabbage was drenched in grease with hardly any cabbage and a ton of onions and garlic (zero flavor), the gyoza wasn't even cooked all the way through. Disappointment is an understatement. I'll be looking for a new Teriyaki place.
