UPDATE Feb 20, 2024 WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE BY THEIR ADMIN DIRECTOR DANA AND MANAGER EM.
I received a call today in hopes they can finally refund me for the meal my family and I didn't eat due to the terrible quality but also the bug in my child's chicken sandwich. However, instead I was rudely mistreated by their very unprofessional, condescending, rude, terrible communication, poor service, apathetic ADMIN DIRECTOR DANA!! Chick Fil A says their focus is on quality and hospitality however, there was definitely no hospitality, and the quality of the food was worse than mediocre. She definitely did not follow the chick fil a standard of the so called "HEARD MODEL". She completely did the opposite by being condescending when speaking to me about refunding my money and making these awful experience better! She showed no empathy and huffed non stop saying she would only refund the chicken sandwich that had the bug and nothing else even though we were unsatisfied with the entire order and were rightfully not comfortable nor wanted to eat it after the quality of the food and the disgusting bug. She made no efforts in making my terrible experience better nor did she care. After getting no where with her I asked about their policy after she continued to refuse numerous times to refund me my hard earned money for food we didn't even eat. She then hung up on me not once but twice!! I called back in hopes I could have spoken to someone else that was professional and was answered by the manager EM, however she paused me mid way when i asked to speak to the manager and not her and decided to pass the phone back to this awful team member that yet again hung up on me but not before getting her spiteful response in saying she will not refund me since I cant be satisfied. She gave me no other option to this matter she didn't even try to fairly fix anything or be reasonable. She hung up on me!! How is that resolving anything?! They were at fault both times! How can she say she cant satisfy me when she didn't give me no other option. She got a power high and denied me my refund without hearing me out! I was not asking for free food I was asking for what is right which is my money back due to the poor quality and disgusting bug in our food! This is unacceptable and disreputable behavior! I am truly appalled by such treatment to a loyal customer and human being! Is this how we treat others?! Lakewood WA Chick fil a branch really needs to take a look at their team, especially the ones that deal with customers and are suppose to have good problem solving skills! I truly believed that chick fil a cared more about their customers, but with employees like these I can tell the quality of customer service they care to provide to the community. Ive received better customer service at a Mcdonalds and Walmart compared to this Medicare customer service.
Original post: Not only did they get my food incorrect the first time and I had to turn back but my daughter’s chicken deluxe had a bug! Definitely disappointed in not only the quality of the food but the attentiveness and their customer service. My daughter ended up with a stomach ache and we all threw the remainder of our food away as we did not trust the quality of the food after that disgusting find.When I went back to return the wrong order I was given, I went inside the restaurant and made eye contact with a female manager, she simply drank her drink, glanced at me one more time and then looked away without asking if I needed any help. It was obvious she saw me come in with a bag of food and seem to be aware of the matter since another employee rudely said to the employee who handed me the food to notify management about the switch in which he then indicated he did already. So after I approached that employee to let him know about the mistake they made, he then handed me my half warm half cold food and was sent on my way without an acknowledgment of their mistake and or apology. Read moreI and 2 other friends went to order our online meal. We ordered 3 chicken sandwiches, a fruit cup, Mac and cheese, and three drinks at 2115. When we arrived at 2145, we received our meal and paid. We checked our meals as we pulled off and saw we were missing two chicken sandwiches, the Mac and cheese, and the wrong drinks-and were given a pack of chicken nuggets instead. We turned around as we were only 5 min from the restaurant and arrived at 2200. We understand this was the time they closed, but when we pulled up- we had explained we received the wrong meal. The manager came to the window and first asked us with an attitude how we even drove through the drive through- while there are cones up. We answered that there were cones blocking off the section, but not through the entry way. They told us they were closed and put all the food away. We then said “we understand but is there any chance we can have our money back?” They said they couldn’t do that- and then told us they could write our name down from the order and give us the order for free Monday. While we said that works for us, the manager had a very rude attitude towards us and kept telling us we shouldn’t have ordered that late. When my friend called in today, to ask if we can receive the order- they told her we were banned from going in because we were intimidating and were showing threatening behavior. We did not get out of the car, we did not raise our voice. We are in the military and had a long day at work and were frustrated- but we did not show any disrespect or any signs of being threatening. They also tried to lie and say they saw what we did on camera. Which if you check the cameras, we were asking about our meal. The manager also tried to lie and say that we were there at midnight. If we were there at midnight, and the place closes at 10pm- then why would anyone be there in the first place to talk about the mess up of the order? I usually have a great experience at chick fil a, but the manager especially was extremely rude to us and was giving us an attitude the entire time. Read moreI gotta say that it's been a good long time since I was so disappointed with a food establishment until today. I am beyond frustrated with the quality and quantity of the food I ordered today at this location, but I doubt location is the problem. First of all there is MAJOR false advertising going on. Nothing looks like the ads and photos. I got a "deluxe" chicken sandwich, with extra tomatoes & lettuce. Extra pickles on the side. It can with nasty - see picture - tomatoes and wilted lettuce. Mind you, this location is 5 minutes from my job. So it takes Uber about 3 minutes to get here. They put ALL the extra pickles on the bun completely saturating it with pickle brine. The chicken was soggy. That's why I asked for it on the side....
The tortilla soup was really what I wanted, so phew! Disaster avoided. Wait, not so fast!! $8 for the tiniest - see picture - cup which was about 5-6 spoonfuls. It's $4 more for the "bowl". Not even joking. What a scam.
$24. for lunch for one person!! I think that’s what makes me so angry. When you spend your hard earned money during a recession you should get your moneys worth as well as good quality.
Next time I’ll invest in a locally owned restaurant.
