Uptown Mart — Local services in Lakewood

I'm a regular customer up there along with my wife and our young son. My child loves the worker up there and they are so sweet to them. The other morning I came in and was the first customer there. When they initially tried to charge my card it was just stuck on a spiny circle and didn't do anything so they ran it again and it went through. Later that day we saw we were double charged and called up and they said to call in the morning and speak with the owner. The owner told us we have to dispute it rather than just giving us a refund. I'm sure the cashier remembers me as he told me I was the first customer of the day and it's a charge at the exact same minute for the exact same price. My wife and I both work in retail and management and either of us would refund a customer (especially regulars) and not just tell them to duspute it. Turned something simple into a hassle and it's just disappointing especially with the relationship we have with the store and...

I went there today I bought 3 candies. On the shelf they was priced $1.59 the lady charged me $2.50 each one. I asked her why did you charge me this price when it says $1.59 on the shelf. She Started shaking and acting ignorant I wasn’t upset with the lady she just a cashier But it’s normal to question prices if they are wrong they are wrong. All she had to say was sorry. Nope she decided to get all upset and run her mouth. I asked her to refund the money on my card she said I don’t know how, come back in the morning. This is not the first time it has happened to me at this store. So watch your money they are cheating people. They are also selling some male enhancement pills made in China call rhinos which the fda has placed a recall on this prudect but they don’t care. It's always clean. Items are always stocked. They have a friendly staff. They have a great selection of drinks, amazing ice cream, and some of those quick things you may need at times like toilet paper, cat food, and so on.

The staff is very fast with checkouts, even going to lengths of handling multiple customers at once. They greet you and thank you for coming in they single time.
