I have been in this store a few times, each time hoping the costumer service would be better than the last time. The first few times, it was no big deal, they just didn t say hi or acknowledge me being there when I entered. Personally, that is a huge pet peeve of mine, so I never purchased anything based solely on that. This last time, my mother in law was with and she wanted to look, I had no problem with going in, they DO have cute things to look at. My husband and two kids were also with, we had just come from the central market. Again, they did not say hi or smile, or anything when we walked in. Just looked at us and looked away. So, we looked around, and after a few minutes my 4 year old daughter said she had to use the bathroom. I said there probably wasn t one in there that we could use, but a father with his daughter said, Yes, there is one in the back that they will let you use. Just ask at the desk. I asked at the desk if they had a bathroom we could use. Her answer was, Yes, if you go next door to the market you can use the bathroom in there. That HIGHLY annoyed me. The father just told me that they let kids use the bathroom in their store. Aside from costumer service, it is very overpriced. It s not because it s quality merchandise, which it is. But one example is a sling I was looking at. I have an obsession with baby carriers, so I was looking at them in the store. I saw a few carriers from a name brand I know well. They were being sold for $30 online, and in the store they were selling them for $50+. It was the same name brand, the same make and everything. Even though they sell cute things in this store, that s not enough to make me want to spend my...
Read moreI took my daughter here to pick out a stuffed animal for her soon-to-be baby brother. I loved the selections, but I was extremely surprised that a lot of the options were choking hazards for babies!! All of the stuffed animals except for the rattles had plastic eyes which are proven to be choking hazards as no matter how well they are sewn on, they can be removed and swallowed. There’s an adorable “I’m a big sister” box on the counter that has a little stuffed animal with a removable velcro baby attached — the baby is SO small! I almost bought it until I removed the baby and saw how small it was! Aside from being very overpriced (to be expected at a hospital gift shop), everything else was very nice. I ended up spending $40 on two small stuffed animals, so I wasn’t overly deterred from purchasing anything. The clothing options were cute and the books were adorable, I just wish there were less choking hazards in their...
Read moreI have been meaning to write a review on Bellaboo since my little one had been born. We are from the Lancaster area and have moved to California. Bellaboo is our first stop when heading back to Lancaster. The staff is ALWAYS very friendly, able to answer any questions I have and are willing to ship items to our new home! It is and has always been my go-to for the very best baby/child items in the area! I love that they carry organic and Eco-friendly items and that I don't have to go to Philadelphia for this type of product. They carry such amazing apparel for children and I have found my son some of my favorite pieces that he wears on a regular basis! I can't wait to stop by at Christmas and do...
