Frank Fico Studio — Local services in Lancaster

Until coming to Frank, I haven't had a professional hair cut in 5 years. In fact, I try not to do anything with my hair because about 10 years ago, I was really ambitious with my hairstyles, which, to make a long story short, resulted in globs and globs of my hair falling out in the shower...ahh I still cringe at the memory of it!

Anyway, since then, I've been very careful with what I do with my hair and who I let cut or style it. The past 5 years I've been cutting my own hair, using YouTube tutorials as a guide. The results have been "alright" at best. My DIY haircuts usually take me 4 hours to do. Yep, you heard that right.

Soooo, the other day I saw my mother-in-law, (who's been going to Frank for her hair for years) and I was sort of just staring at her hair and noticed that it looked fabulous--which led me to recall that it had ALWAYS looked fabulous after an appointment with Frank.

I realized I should just stop being silly and go to an expert to get my hair done. And seeing at how happy my mother-in-law always is with Frank's results, I was already sold!

Scheduling my appointment was super easy, 'cause Frank does his appointments through Schedulicity--I even got an appointment the very next day.

I got there and noticed his studio was super cute, clean, polished and bright. You get a private session, so it's just you and Frank--which I have to say, is such a great departure from the claustrophobic atmosphere you get with other hair salons, what with all the people and chatter and all...

I really appreciated that he and I got to talk and most importantly, listen to each other. You definitely don't need to worry about how your hair will turn out, because he communicates your hair's progress every step of the way.

For example: Half way through cutting my hair, he stopped and said we were at a point where he could give me "more dramatic layers, with more volume and movement" or stick to a traditional layered cut. ---I for one, had no idea there were even options! And I'm so happy he gave me the choice, instead of other hairstylists in my past who just did what they wanted.

So, suffice to say, I am extremely happy with my new do and Frank. No wonder my mother-in-law and so many other people go to him...

But of course, you may already be wondering how I dare to comment on something not lived or experienced, but you are wrong, if it affects me and it is the story of many husbands and / or partners of your clients. My wife and daughter are clients of Frank. ............ Who I define as an exemplary citizen of our community and of course, a great artist.

I should mention that his work goes beyond an aesthetic vision, the people who pass through his skilled hands experience a spiritual recharge ready to face the challenges of this modern and scheduled life. My hair was brushed abrasively before! My wash and color was not what I wanted i got a very dull honey brown highlight and I wanted blond, luxe salon my normal salon I go to always nails it and unfortunately was in a pinch and couldn’t fit me in so i resorted to here and was displeased!
