Having read good reviews this might be a fluke but we just had a horrible time here.

Started off as I walked in the door. They have no parking here so dropped my wife off for the short wait and found a spot. I walked in the door and didn't even have the keys on the table before the waitress asks if I was ready to order. I told her I just walked in and asked for a min. She seemed snarky. I asked my wife, did I say that rudely? She says, no she seems to have that attitude with the table next to us as well.

Orders an omelet and wife had chilliqueles, ok I know I spelled that one wrong. Her dish had the chips so crumbled up that it tasted of mush. They were not homemade chips so do not hold up well to being cooked with sauce. My omelet didn't come with cheddar. They claim it was but I know the difference between cheddar and provolone.

What made the experience terrible was two things. The service was terrible. The waitress never once came back to ask how are meals were. When she finally did she seemed snarky. The other killer. And why we wouldn't go back is that it was so hot in there. I do not enjoy dressing nice and sitting with sweat rolling off me while eating breakfast. It was so hot that our table was soaked with the sweat water coming off the...

I got the steam table special and that was some kind of chili over rice and 2 eggs any style you like on top. It had green olives in it so it must be some cuban inspired dish. I ordered before coffee, so I am sure this was explained but my mind switches on during the first cup and itsn full engaged until the 2nd us three quarters down the hatch. I elected the 7 grain toast, I am glad I did, it was hearty dense and rich in falvors and texture. Thick cut and amply buttered it was a delight to have. They have some pretty cool artwork hanging on the walls, I won't take pictures of all them, you should go see them for yourself. They have some kind of mug club program involving discounts on coffee, or likely do based on the mugs with names on them hanging on the wall. They also still have an old school rewards program with cards and all... kinda cool throwback, I neglected to pick one up of course. I was wondering, based on their small space how they could possibly do enough business to stay open... then I went downtown and they have a bunch more people crammed into 2 rooms down there. The bathrooms were infinitesimal, but clean and well cared for. All in all a...

Party of two, I was told the wait would be 15-20 minutes. Forty minutes later we were finally called. Famished, we ordered quickly, only to learn that some of the food we ordered they ”ran out of.” Our coffees were on the house, which we appreciated. However, unfortunately, regardless of the fact that they ran out of the food we ordered, we were still charged for all of it. Lastly, the food was mediocre at best. The Canadian bacon was inedible, and we left hungry. We ended up buying buttered rolls at the gas station across the street afterward. We can’t believe that this place has such a high rating. Our weekend experience in Lancaster was impeccable, with the exception of coming to this place. Our overall rating of this...

Beautiful little eatery, old and cozy with a touch of eclectic art. Friendly atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff. The food was beyond amazing. I had the Indian Omelet, I loved it. I love spicy food and that absolutely hit the spot. I also enjoyed the cooked cherry tomatoes that can with it. The fried potatoes were perfect as well. Such a great combination of tastes. The baked oatmeal was a fun side. Also they serve Gluten free items as well. Again perfect taste. Parking is easy, parking garage is caddy corner from the restaurant and there is on street parking. It's close to everything in downtown Lancaster. I will definitely eat there again❤️❤️

I had their special which was a meat loaf omelet. I really enjoyed it. My only minor complaint was that they had a spicy aioli on it that was over the top. The meat loaf and onions and cheese were plenty of flavors from the omelet. That spicy aioli would go great with a veggie omelet. Their 7 grain toast was nice heavy bread. Some of you may not like bread that dense but that is my favorite. I had a side of bacon and it was cooked perfectly. The fat on the bacon was cooked enough so that it wasn't chewy but the meat wasn't overdone and crunchy. Very good bacon. The service was excellent. Definitely recommend breakfast .
