Bravo Supermarkets — Local services in Lancaster

It serves the need for a convenient local market. They have all the essentials, and a great Spanish food selection. I like the fact that they have a little deli where I can get fresh sliced lunch meat & cheese for my lunches. My biggest question mark is when it comes to pricing. Some things are priced competitively and other things are overpriced — typical for supermarkets — some things are priced. . .lazily? For instance: a gallon of milk is the same price across the board; two half gallons, however, are always cheaper than one gallon (and also priced relative to the type of milk). Chobani yogurt, too, is very affordable here — which makes me wonder why it's so much pricier at a place like Walmart, for instance. Just something I noticed.

Yea everyone here has terrible attitudes. My boyfriend bought 2 of the little canned octopus in oil. Everywhere else you go they are 2-3 dollars. The most I have seen them for is about 4$. They charged my guy 8$ and some change for EACH CAN. I went back in with the receipt and checked the shelf price. It was about 3.49 at the time. So i asked the cashier I saw for a refund. She claimed she didn't know how and called the supervisor on duty. They talked for about 5 minutes before coming back to the register and all they kept saying was that they don't do refunds. It was so crazy, they were both rolling their eyes as I stood there trying to demand a refund for the outrageous prices. Creepy behavior from employees. First time there was an issue I gave the benefit of the doubt- employee ignored me for 10 minutes chatting while I waited to check out one item then left. Finally another employee saw and rung me up. A few days ago I was looking for one item. Wasn’t in spots that would make sense for it. I asked a male employee, and another male employee next to him made a creepy comment. They both laughed and stared at me while I waited for them to answer my question about where the item was when I finally said I would ask another employee … and I let that employee know.
