As a black business owner, I hate to leave this kind of review but unfortunately it has come to that. Shy is a great service provider but lacks the skills to effectively run a business that thrives on customer service and honesty.
After shadowing Shy, I was confident that sheād be the perfect person to service my mother for laxed skin on her neck. This ended up being a major regret for not only my mother, but for me because I trusted Shy. During the consultation, Shy had my mother under the impression that PDO threads was the correct course of action to address my motherās concerns. Long story short, it was not and Shy did little to nothing to rectify the issue.
When you try to address your concerns, her lack of communication skills come to the forefront because she cuts you off and over talks you. Sheās also very dismissive of concerns that are a result of HER mess ups.
She has a ācoordinatorā by the name of Marlana who is far from a coordinator. She is simply a parrot who repeats what her owner says. Iāve never met a coordinator that has no leadership qualities. She also does not know how to āput out firesā because she cuts you off and dismisses your concerns as well.
Because there is no recorded line (on the telephone) like all professional medical offices have, there is no way to hold them accountable following phone conversations. It is simply their word against yours.
The icing on the cake was when Shy terminated my mother as a client because she ācouldnāt satisfy her.ā Instead of trying to rectify something that could have been categorized as miscommunication, Shy continuously attempted to prove how she made no error in the situation. It wasnāt until her and I got on the phone and I was able to breakdown where she went wrong. (Mind you, I am not the client so my concerns shouldnāt have matteredā¦my motherās shouldāve).
After she terminated my mother as a client, my mother had some pain that she wanted to speak to Shy about. She sent TWO emails and her post procedure concerns were never addressed. This is so dangerous because this is against medical practices.
Shy also does not follow her own procedures. For PDO threads, HER PROTOCOL states that the client should be on antibiotics prior to the procedure. She was so quick to do the procedure that my mom was not instructed to take antibiotics prior to the procedure. In addition to this, she did not receive the antibiotics until days after her procedure because the pharmacy was out of stock. This could have been addressed prior to my momās procedure had she followed her own protocols.
Shy also did not go over after care after completing the service. My mom received the after care instructions hours later by email. Marlana was supposed to send this upon completion of the consultation. My mother had already drank through a straw after the service which it stated to avoid. Shy didnāt even verbally address post procedure instructions. She completed the procedure and exited the room.
I could go on and on about the faults made by her and her āteamābut the bottom line is Shy and Marlana are unprofessional, lack communication skills, and lack qualities that are necessary for damage control. Shy is good with a needle and anyone who gets their RN license can do that. When it comes to running a business, she misses the mark by a landslide.
I would not recommend Shy for your services but I would recommend her and her team to take some business management and communication classes as soon...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience at Nursie Cosmetics started off promising, but quickly turned sour. As a monthly tox subscriber, I was enticed by the "buy 3 get 4th free" offer for injectables like Botox and Jeuveau. The owner and main injector, Shy, seemed pleasant, but unfortunately lacked common sense and solid business practice which I realized at my 2nd appointment.
My initial appointment I purchased the āBuy 3 get 4thā free on toxin injections. I paid for 3 of the Botox (as I was informed the price was going up. I used 100 (two of the 4 sets of injections) that same day.
During my second appointment, I was informed that only Daxxify was available, despite my initial purchase of other injectable brand. While Daxxify is priced similarly (maybe a few dollars difference) to Botox and Jeuveau, the units don't align, 100 units equals 50 units of others (again with the price of the 100 units being similar to the price of 50 units of others). I ultimately decided on the Daxxify that day because toxins are the only treatment that aids my Chronic Migraine. Even on that 2nd appointment I confirmed with Shy that I would still have my 4th round of injections as the 100 unit I was getting was priced the same as the 50 units of others, she confirmed (might even be on camera) as everything is recorded.
A couple weeks went by and I was noticing that my migraines were not really going away, the Daxxify helped a little but I know my body and I know I needed more. I made an appointment to use my 4th round of injections. Despite confirming with Shy that I would still receive my 4th session (which was to be free per the promotion), she reneged, insisting on unit-based policies rather than honoring the price similarities.
This discrepancy led to me paying out of pocket for additional injections, leaving me feeling deceived and taken advantage of. Not to mention I never got that ā4th freeā. It's disappointing to encounter such misleading practices, especially in a place where I sought relief for my migraines.
I never once asked for anything free and was straight forward with my units, injection sites etc as Iāve been getting Botox for my migraines for over a decade.
My advice to others considering Nursie Cosmetics: Donāt go, but if you do get everything in writing and clarify EVERY detail before proceeding. Unfortunately, my experience here was far from satisfactory, an I cannot recommend it to others. Beware of the "units vs price" trap and explore other business for your specific needs. This is sadly another Vegas scam business, youāve...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn April 29th of this year I contacted this business because a coworker recommended it to me, when I called the first thing they asked was your name and all your personal information, I asked how much the consultation cost they told me $150.00 which they charged to the name (NURSIE COSMETICS AESTHETICS) on my credit card but they never told me that if I canceled or changed the day they would charge me another 150.00 on my card. I made the appointment for April 30th but I had emergency and I contacted them at 9:00 am and they were closed and opened until 11:00 am I left them a message where I told them to contact me because I wanted to make another appointment and they called me after 11 am and the person who called me told me that If I canceled my appointment at 3:00 they would charge me another $150.00 to change my appointment which I did not agree with this, which I told her I was going to dispute this transaction with my bank since I had not received any service from them yet and I had already paid $150.00 and they wanted to charge me another $150.00. I called my bank and made the dispute and the bank credited me $150.00 dollars to my account, but this company fraudulently charged my card another $150.00 in the name of another company (MEDICAL SPA & WELLNESS) which I have been fighting in disputes with them because they have charged me $ 300.00 without having received any service from them and without even knowing where they are located. They never sent me a copy of their policy. In total, I was charged $300 and never even received a single treatment or set foot in the facility and feels like robbery. I would not recommend this place ā be cautious and make sure you get everything in writing before committing to anything. I will contact BBB to submit a claim too. Also If I have to report this to TV channel like 3, 5, 13 or Spanish one (15)...
