Before I start, the pizza was one of the better pizzas we've had.
But the customer service from the woman up front at the register was so disappointing. First, when we got up to order, I grabbed looked through the menu and she seemed bothered by it and slightly grabbed the menu as I was flipping through.
Second, when we walked in, there was two or three people waiting at a table and one person in front of us ordering. Not very busy in my perspective. The lady at the register was wrapping up a phone order where she told the person on the phone it would be 20 minutes to fulfill their order.
The restaurant quickly filled up after we placed our order and we thought we'd beat the rush. It took an hour and ten minutes to fulfill our order of 1 pizza, 1 salad, and cannolis!!!
We patiently waited and kept track of when the people in front of us got their order. But then we watched the people behind us get their order before us and that prompted us to go to the unfriendly hostess to ask about our order. She told us that we were next.
I then watched two other pizzas for other parties behind us appear on the countertop and then again asked when our order would be ready as people behind us in line had already gotten their order. Her response was "well they are dining in". Then she quickly responded with they fulfill orders based on time stamps, which I again stated that we arrived and ordered before them!
She never apologized. A simple "i'm sorry for the delay" would go along way. That's it. It was a Friday at dinner time, I get it, its a busy time. But customer services is everything in the town known for customer service.
And to add a cherry on top, I ordered "two" cannolis and wondered why they were six dollars each. Apparently one order includes 3 cannolis. Which again, very simple to mention to customers when ordering, but instead she decided to give me a dirty look for...
Read moreI love pizza! Been around it for a while . Honestly is one of my favorite foods. I been to secret pizza , Anthony’s , Evel pie. And others. From L.A to Las Vegas. I wanted to experiment and ask google for the best pizza in Vegas. This is the one that was recommended by the most popular AI today. So I drove almost and hr. To a first choice that I had before. I arrived at the location. It seemed kind of empty. But then again us a weekday. So I go in and was greed nicely by a water. I asked told him this is my first time trying this pizza. I also asked what kind of cheese they use. He didn’t have a clue. I also told him that if that the only size pizza they have. He replied yes. I wanted to see if it was good. To take some to my kids . Cause they love pizza!. So I ordered the veggie pizza. The gentleman told me they only use produce imported from Italy. So I waited 15min . The pizza look s good. . I thought to myself maybe this is it! Best pizza in Las Vegas. That’s why the price for a small is steep. I took a bite. I notice the ingredients are not what I was told fresh from Italy. Hardly any cheese. Tomato sauce does not taste fresh but canned. Cheese not great. Dough was dry can only taste the burn part of the crust. I don’t know if the owner. Pay to jump. His review on google or what happened. But definitely is not worth . The time ,the quality, the size, and the price. My final advice. Don’t based on what AU software tells you. Based on customer critics. THE BEST OF LUCK. TO THIS PLACE. But I would not...
Read moreSolamente Pizza is a contemporary Neapolitan pizza restaurant located in Town Square Las Vegas . The restaurant uses only the finest ingredients on house-made dough that is fermented for a minimum of 48 hours before hitting the oven. I visited them after seeing a review by @thelasvegasfoodie , and as a pizza lover had to check them out. Honestly I was blown away by the light, fluffy, and full-of-flavor pizzas. Absolutely loved the flavor of the dough and the sauces… wow! The place is small and not a lot of seating, if you can’t find seating inside the shop, you can order your pie and take it and sit outdoor on the plaza. They are located across from the theater up the escalator, you can spot them if you look up from the courtyard in front of the theater. Besides the pies, I loved the how amazing the entire staff was, from the hostess to the owner and his wife, and how hard they work. Supporting a small business is so important and before anyone complaining about the price of personal pizzas consider the costs of buying all these fresh ingredients and all the love and hard work that goes into creating such great product. The owner is a teacher by day which makes me even happier supporting an educator. Solamente Pizza is open from Wednesday to Saturday from 5:00 pm until sold out. Please go check them out and try their pies, I strongly...
