Oddwood — Local services in Las Vegas

Oddwood is a neat little bar inside Area 15 and nestled right in the middle of the action.

They feature a small menu of various cocktails and appetizers and you can sit either at the bar top or in a small table.

The boyfriend and I came on a very slow November evening, which made it perfect because we wanted to enjoy the night while still social distancing. Masks are required when you are not drinking or eating at all times like most establishments are at this time.

I can’t recall the name of the drinks that we got but I do remember mine had elderflower in it and was absolutely delicious so I recommend it. The boyfriend got an old fashioned which was a bit too strong for his liking but if you’re into that cocktail, I’m sure it would have been a good one. Drinks were only about $15 which is still fairly low in comparison to the strip.

Such a GREAT location smack dab in the middle of Area 15! You can watch the zip line all around you, have a 360 view of the art, murals, installations and people watch lol. Not to mention the super cute light up tree that won't let you get lost on the way back from the bathroom, lol. So our server was super sweet and recommended me the perfect cocktail each time I wanted to try something new from the menu! I tried the Toki drink that had whiskey, the Hibiscus spritzer and the Watermelon Mule. They were all super tasty and sweet! I cant really say I had a favorite but i can say the Watermelon Mule was surprisingly delicious! I would love to check out this place on a weekend when they have a d.j. The only recommendation I would give them is to have different seating options as the stools dont have back support and it seemed to be the only type of seats available around the entire bar. I wrote a review last year about going to Area 15 for the first time and i went back again in September but forgot to write another review. Shame I cannot add to the main one so I will add to this and The Beast.

first let me say I was sad that I didn't see Sadie again, I had hoped to but alas, still there were other as awesome people there. Though I forget their names because drunk me was there mostly.

SPEAKING of which. Oddwood, I love you. Dearly. I mentioned to a Bartender there about my love of smoked whiskey but not finding one that was just right and he figured out what needed to be done. Putting the smoke in the mixing cup then shaking the whiskey with it. Put a cocktail like that on your menu! Also give him a raise.
