World Market — Local services in Las Vegas

Today was my first time stopping in this store and it did not disappoint. As soon as I walked in the store I was greeted by an employee with a friendly smile. Since it was my time I didn’t know where thing was and while I was walking around the store looking lost someone came up to me and asked I need help and suggested that I sign up for there reward program, so I did and by doing that I received a percentage off, which was so great. I despise these stores. They're so overpriced and they run ads saying come in for a free gift then NEVER have the gift available even if you go the same day it comes out. This particular store, the sales associate was rude when asked about it. Lied to my face about why they ran out. Then hit new levels of rudeness when I showed her proof she was lying. I get no one is entitled to a free gift, just don't bait and switch to make a sale and act like the person is being greedy for wanting you to deliver what was promised.

Terrible shopping experience. Received email my order was ready, when I got there, they couldn’t locate. After much back and forth, it was hastily put together. I was failed to be notified that a couple of items were out of stock before I went to pick up my order. When I got home, there was a duplicate charge. When I emailed customer service, I was told I needed to go back to the store since it was a pick up. Fat chance. Instead I deleted my account and won’t be shopping at World Market anymore.
