As I entered the place it was pretty slow only one person inside eating, then as I approached the counter nobody was at the front register so waited 5 minutes for someone to get out order. I had ordered carne asada fries and my daughter ordered 3 chicken tacos. After our order was done I look what was rolled up in foil and I asked the lady that was giving our food and I said that looks like one taco and she opened it and it was 3 soft tacos and I said oh my daughter wants the hard tacos which my daughter didn't say she wanted hard shells instead of soft tacos, so they remade it and made the hard tacos. After they were done making the hard tacos, the lady opened it and the tacos shells were dark brown and looked like they were burnt and I'm like ok that don't look good, and the lady smiles as she was showing us the tacos. So didn't think nothing of it for a few minutes so we took our food and left to go to our car and my daughter opened to look at the tacos and she like they are burnt and the inside of it the chicken was burnt also. So my daughter was like that don't look right, I looked at it closely and I'm like the shells are burnt and the chicken, so I went back inside and brought the chicken tacos and I said to the lady these tacos are burnt and she opens it and says what is burnt, I'm like are you serious I,so I'm like I want my money back and she points to the big sign no refunds and I'm like I want won't come back here no more. I paid all together $26 and I was so upset, she lucky I didn't throw them tacos at her. I recommend everyone to not come...
Read moreIt's been 2 years since we came here and the service is even worse. The cashier was chatting to another employee the entire time I placed my order then she just walked away when I was paying. 3 of the TV menus were turned off so good luck ordering. My plate came with 8, yes 8, chips. The carne asada meat has NO flavor. The torta was a soggy sub sandwich bread, impossible to pick up it fell apart immediately. The birria was pretty bland. The benches are super uncomfortable and too low for the tables. Atmosphere is uncomfortable all around. Updating from a 2 star to a 1.
Original review in 2022: They don't know their own menu...we asked if the taquitos do come with sour cream and they told us no, then gave it to us with the sour cream. When we got the food and told them we said "no sour cream" they said "but it comes with it" and then proceeded to scrape off the sour cream and cover it with guacamole!!!! When we asked the size difference between the asada plate and the al la cart asada plate ...they gave us a plate of asada when we ordered asada fries. The food was honestly pretty bland, there was really no flavor, definitely no salt or lime in anything..so disappointing. We won't be returning, which says a lot because we are members of the AMC next door, could have been consistent business for them but I guess with 4 locations, does your quality...
Read moreMy first time here, I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. From the outside, it looks a little deceiving, a little stark, not flashy. But inside, the place was clean and busy inside. The staff were all working hard and seem to do a good job. The cashier was very friendly and not just took my order but repeated it back, to make sure it was correct. It was a large order. Not everything was perfect but the staff quickly made it right. The quesabirria tacos were excellent. Very flavorful and juicy. The dipping sauce was warm and spicy. I ate every bite. The rice was good, the refried beans were delicious. I wished I had more. My friend had the fish tacos, he ate them so fast, I barely caught a glimpse of them, but the fish were good sized pieces and he ate every bite too. The only gripe I have is that the salsas seemed like an afterthought, not imaginative or very flavorful. I would put a little more effort into that and 5 star ratings are sure to follow I will be back. I recommend...
