Mi Carboncito Peruvian Food — Restaurant in Las Vegas

I hate to write bad reviews because the #33 Lomo Saltado is freakin delicious.

BUT after picking up my food today, I won’t be coming back. Let’s just they are definitely doing extra charges without my consent. It was today’s visit, I went back to my credit card statement from previous visits and saw the total charges that were not what I signed for and are pretty much inconsistent.

They have an advertise credit card of 3% which I am totally fine to pay for my meal which is “ Like $0.63 cents for a $22 meal. But they want to tell me it’s $2?! And then they refuse to give me an itemized receipt on top of it?!

I don’t tip for my take out foods unless I’m eating in the restaurant and like I said I’ve ordered the same meal every SINGLE time. So my meal should be $24 for easy math after taxes and cc fee. So you know I trust the business to charge correctly.

But looking at my statement today and I’m seeing $26. They are definitely adding an extra $2-3 for something else, probably tip who knows. I’m not going to dispute it because I’m not in the mood to fight for $4-6 but someone clearly needs money and is stealing.

I attached all the charges from them. And the $49.68 was two of #30 which splits to $24.84. Makes no sense.

Saw a post about this place from @Vegasstarfish and had to see for myself. Everything was delicious and we all ate way too much but I was most impressed with the aguachile. The herbs and flavors were so different than any mexican style I ever tried. What were those little toasted nuts? From the yuca? Or a kind of palm? 🌴 It was fantastic. They even humored us and brought us sone saltines as we are accustomed to having with a mexican ceviche. The drink I ordered looked like jamaica water but it tasted like chiclets with a hint of cinnamon. It was refreshing and good. Freaking amazing french fries. The lomo saltado had fries in it, too, soaked in the gravy so it was like a peruvian style poutine. 🤤🤤🤤🤤 The onions were ughhhhhhnnnnnnnn 😙🤌🏽 chefs kiss and abundant and delicious. The sauces and presentation were just really excellent. Nothing disappointed us in the slightest. Fine bathroom, too. Ugghhh! Yum. Will definitely be back next time we are up...

Me and my wife just visited and we are hooked this is totally different the ambiance makes you feel like your not in America the food was amazing and even there glass bottle sodas were refreshing and ice cold we experienced eating with our hands witch was a very intimate experience we ordered the whole bird that comes with these delicious home fries and this great side salad we also got tortillas and they even chopped up some onions and cilantro and even gave us limes and he was so great he threw in a secret sauce made by his mother the food was incredible very flavorful and authentic as I said we did not feel like we were in Vegas the customer service was top notch this is our new spot for sure coming back and the price was unheard of we got all that for including drinks for $42 and had plenty of food left over this...
