Hobby Lobby — Local services in Las Vegas

Went here to look for a signs for my husband's garage for our anniversary.

Found some really cool stuff although I was a little disappointed because the sign that was right on the whole display case show that they were having a 50% off sale all table and wall decorations! When I carefully picked out the perfect items for my gift I then proceeded to wait in line to check out. The Young girl said they weren't 50% off and proceeded to argue with me over it. I almost left my items and walked away when a nice customer behind me just happened to have a 40% off coupon so she just handed it to me so I did go ahead and purchase the 5 items I was buying off of that 50% display!

Then when I called back the next day to voice my opinion and tell them what happened the young lady that took my call said to come in and they would give me the discounts because they were 50% off.

I did not go back in I did not get the discount because I had already received 40% from kind customer.

I believe that their employees should know their ongoing sales and not jump to a conclusion without going and reading the sign for themselves!

Overall a good store, the management has room for improvement. Hobby Lobby puts almost half of the store on sale ever other week and the rest of the store (almost) goes on sale the following week. Great choices, good quality most of the time and unique finds. Furnitures are expensive, florals are very nice, fabrics are good and well priced, frames are way too expensive and does not have great quality, decorative items are great and unique, toys and creative accessories are top of the line and it is honestly a great place to find the perfect gifts for anyone. The management, as I mentioned can be improved because they are not too easy on returns and keeping a good stock in the store. We had to buy this frame, and we told them it was damaged, they offered 10% off only and they said we would not be able to return it. So I refused the discount to keep the return privileges. Not very friendly or professional for a store like this, but I understand that its mainly a corporation and policy issue rather than management...

NEVER EVER bring your paintings to this store to be stretched or framed!!! My first painting was ruined by a framer who had no idea how to do it. After she stretched my painting on a smaller frame than my artwork and simply tied and stapled the "extra" painting, manager fixed her mistake, but good, she was fired. I was hopping that after that accident people from frame shops would do better work and I took my second painting over there a few months later. They promised to finish the job in 2 weeks. I waited some more, went to the store to see what was going on, no one even attempted to work on my painting, they promised to give me a big discount and asked me to come back in a week. I was upset and took my painting home to take it somewhere else. Guess what, when I got home I found the my painting was damaged- there on the middle were a hole size if a dime !!!!!!! PLEASE DON'T LET THEM DESTROY YOUR ART WORK, go for framing somewhere else. I wish I could attach a picture with that kind of damage... What a...
