I have purchased countless items from aarons throughout the years. This past christmas i tried to purchase a refrigerator. The contact between the manager at the Laurens store and myself was insane. I was trying to get the fridge delivered and because i aaked them to bring it a little later all of a sudden the delivery folks were getting off 2 hours early. I was appalled and asked to speak w the manager. She yelled at me and talked over me. She made me come INTO to store SAME DAY to get my refund. And while i was there she continued to badger and mock me. I asked for a corporate number to which her reply was: they wont do anything to me. And she was certainly right. Nothing was done. Its a shame that i cant buy furniture here. Im sure there are lots of other folks in laurens that wish they could shop w aarons too but feel they cant because of lack of management and customer service skills. Hopefully someone does...

Update. a year later tried to do the dollar deal online so I didn't have to deal with the hateful and poor customer service at the Laurens location but the store refused to give me the merchandise breaking a signed and approved lease agreement. I told the regional manager for court purposes I wanted the money put back on my card that it was taken from then I get a call from the store manager saying it would be "in the mail to me in 2-3 weeks" that's after me already waiting almost 2 weeks. I need the money back on my card for court and that process will start...
Read moreI would not recommend renting from Aaron's in Lauren's unless they get rid of their credit manager, Robert. He was extremely rude when asked a simple question. They called my husband after I tried calling them twice to make my Weekly payment and charged a late fee. (Don't care about a late fee, that's fine) But he was so rude and was wrong about the date that it was actually due which was on Tuesday the 17th instead of the 15th and wouldn't simply apologize for just being wrong. We had gotten a lawnmower from them but once again, Robert caught an attitude and my husband didn't want to deal with the rude man so we told'em to come get it. Because of Robert, it's not worth...
