First of all, I want to say that if 5 years ago, I would schedule ever getting a pedicure, I would have laughed. However, as I got older and after being diagnosed with rheumatoid and osteoarthritis along with peripheral neuropathy to both feet and legs. my perspective to this service has changed. Living alone and not being able to care for my feet as in my younger days, the ladies at Lucky Nails II supply a much needed service for this retired gentleman. With the progression of " hammer toe," my toenails tend to produce ingrown toenails, thus producing severe pain. Having a pedicure every 4 to 5 weeks relieves this pain, allowing a better feeling to my feet. The ladies performing this service are most friendly and professional. Sometimes, when they are striving to cut a nail so as to relieve pressure to a toe, the process may feel a little uncomfortable. However, the final results are well worth the benefits received. The ladies go out of their way to provide a pleasant and beneficial service. One thing I have noticed is the fact that the owner / manager personally know her regular customers calling them by name. When calling for an appointment, they are always cordial and timely with your appointment. When a customer courts a merchant, you have a certain value of expectations. Personally, Lucky Nails II has met my...
Read moreI have to say, I am very disappointed with Lucky Nail & Tan ll in Lavonia! I got my nails done exactly two weeks ago (full set acrylic with gel polish) and I already got them off! The week after I got them done there was lifting starting at the bottom of almost all of my nails and my real nail was separating from the top. Today I finally got tired of them catching on my hair and fabrics and pried them off. It was super easy and painless, they just popped off with ease. Which tells me they weren’t done correctly in the first place. Because acrylics aren’t supposed to come off that easily without soaking, especially only TWO WEEKS LATER. The woman seemed rushed and distracted, she kept applying more glue because the tips didn’t want to stick to my nails (should’ve known something was off right then). I go there all the time for my pedicures and they do a fantastic job on my toes so they’re not all bad. But with finger nails? Not so much. I will not be going back to them for...
Read moreI absolutely love this place! I have been to four other nail salons in the surrounding counties and this place definitely does the best job as far as nails go. I usually get the SNS dip, they apply it thin so when it grows out it doesn’t catch on my hair or lift. They definitely take their time during each application, especially pedicures which is a bonus. It does not feel like they are rushing through to get it done like some places. Obviously the only downside to being good is your busy. If you make an appointment don’t count in getting to a chair right away as they usually are finishing other clients including walk ins. Overall, I will choose this place over the rest for the in the...
