Hometown Floral and Balloons — Local services in Lavonia

Received a beautiful bouquet of flowers on Thursday evening from my husband for our anniversary from this place. The next day the flowers were dying or dead. We kept them in a safe cool environment ( not my first time with flowers ) by Sunday they were all dead. My husband left a message with the florist and never received a return call, she claimed she hadn't gotten her voice mail in 6 days! He called back Wednesday and talked to someone and all they did was play the blame game! Very unprofessional! Never offered a refund or at the very least a GC. If you want your flowers to last, please be advised this is not the place to go. I will answer your reply, we offered to send you pictures, you did not care at all until my review. We do work , and you close early. We also offered to bring them Saturday again with out reply. Do not blame us for not bringing them back, when you had every chance to make this right and you suggested nothing . My review stands and I hope someone appreciates the honest review and goes...

The owner of the store is the main one who works here,,And Shes just soo nice,sweet,considerate, And a "dont meet no strangers "&Helpful kind of person.Shes Helped me every time I've been there..the first time was to find a nice arrangement to put on my mother's grave.&I was just in shock,,just in pieces when I walked in..Here I was a 37 yr old.who had just buried my mama,my best friend,my world,ANYWAYS ,I CANT REMEMBER THE OWNER OF THIS FLORIST PLACE FOR nothing..But I told her my story about my mana, &told her my mama's favorite color was Lavender, But I'd purple would be fine if no lavender..So while I was looking around,She was behind her counter talking to me.then she comes out from around the counter with the most beautiful, Purple,Lavendar and a lil yellow..bouquet..to put on mama's grave and I cried,we all cried.and that's it .SOO WITH ALL THIS BEING SAID, I 100%RECCOMEND GOING TO THIS...

Pissed does not even begin to describe how I feel right now... I always attempt to shop local, and I never intentionally bad mouth a company... HOWEVER! weeks ago I ordered Valentine gifts for my 2 children (a bear and a small bouquet, and a bear and a stick balloon) not only did they not deliver the order until almost 3pm... they only delivered one order...as if I only had or liked one child... then I go by the florist and not only did the owner blame the school she was rude... I WOULD NOT RECOMMED HOMETOWN FLORAL AND BALLOON!!! It's a huge waste of time and money and I had one devastated and humiliated little girl who looked absolutely pitiful... I should have just ordered the candy...
