The hotel room itself was quite nice, it was clean and quiet with a comfy bed and a nice shower. HOWEVER when I first arrived for the evening on 9/5/25 my cousin had dropped me off at the hotel since I was in town visiting family and there was a man working the desk. He asked how many people were in the room and I replied with one just myself. He then gestured to my cousin and said that “he can’t be here” and I said oh he isn’t he’s just dropping me off he’ll only stay for a few minutes. Then he proceeded to continue to say he was going to charge me extra for a second person being in the room and I again repeated that I was the only person who would be staying in the room and specified that he was family and only dropping off and would only be staying for a few minutes. The man continued to argue that my cousin could not go upstairs with me and eventually finally gave in and said 15 minutes only which was fine my cousin left after only 5 minutes but I have NEVER felt so unsafe and unwelcome in a hotel. It’s strange that a family member can’t walk you to your room I totally understand not having a guest over night but I used to work at a hotel and it’s very normal for people to visit for short periods of time when dropping people off or picking them up. I also found it extremely rude that the man was just not listening to anything I was saying and it kind of creeped me out and made me feel unsafe as if he really really wanted me to be 100% alone and not have the room checked out by a man before me staying in the room. The next evening there was an older woman working and...
Read moreI have finally found the absolute worse establishment I have ever stayed in. Due to the Hurricane Devastation and nearly two weeks without electricity and water I evacuated to this hole . Upon arrival I was told the house keeping staff did not have a room ready . Took 2 more hours . I was also informed the hole does not have a elevator. " the property is not prepared for disabled customers , I am a Disabled Veteran ". I would have to lug all our belongings up the stairs. As the individual continued to inform me of the properties policies , That of course over power Federal Law . I was told that I could simply leave and receive a refund . Although if I entered the room even one step I would be charged a full day. Then to the following afternoon , when the same employee called our room to inform me that their policy mandates that they be allowed in the room or I would be kicked out . I asked why , I was told , so they can clean. We had not been to sleep yet . I called the GA Government Office that would oversee Hotels . I once again removed all our belongings and had to bring them back up the stairs later . When I returned I took photographs of how dirty the floor, shower and toilet was . And informed the front desk. When I checked out of the hole and retrieved a receipt, i told them the room was dirty , I was treated unlawfully and that I was Pioneer complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Corporation Headquarters. The same individual asked me why did I even stay there if it's so bad knowing there's no open rooms within 500 Mi of the storms...
Read moreI stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel room itself was clean and quiet, it had a comfy bed and a nice shower. I enjoyed the room. HOWEVER I checked in on September 5th in the evening and there was a man working the front desk. I was in town visiting family and my cousin dropped me off, I was asked at check in how many people would be staying in the room and I replied “one just myself” and then the man gestured to my cousin and said he can’t stay or I’ll have to charge you for another person. I said “oh no he’s just my cousin I’m in town visiting family and he’s just dropping me off he’ll be leaving in just a few minutes”. I thought that would be the end of the conversation but it wasn’t. He continued to say that my cousin can’t stay the night or I’d be charged and then he was saying that my cousin couldn’t go up to my room at all. I thought that was ridiculous I’ve worked at a hotel in the past and it’s very normal for family and stuff to visit for a few minutes when dropping people off or picking them up. Finally after going back and forth with a very uncomfortable and rude conversation the man ALLOWED my cousin to stay for 15 minutes. He only stayed for 5 which was all we wanted in the first place but it was so ridiculous. Especially as a woman it made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable as if he didn’t want someone checking my room before I stayed there. It was incredibly unprofessional and just not right. The conversation should’ve been done as soon as I said he wasn’t going...
