Waffle House — Restaurant in Lavonia

I went in tonight to make a to-go order. I was greeted by a nice waitress and she wrote down my order. I was very specific and made her call the order back to me to make sure it was correct. I went to the restroom and then sat and waited for my food. The waitress was very nice and bagged the food up and gave me the condiments and utensils I requested. I got home and u bagged my food to realize I was missing a waffle and sausage from my all star meal. I received eggs, raisin toast, and hash browns. I also ordered three separate orders of hash browns one was covered. As well as two waffle kids plates one with bacon and one with sausage. I received all the other items except the waffle and sausage for the all-star. I called and contacted the restaurant and she told me to come back and get the missing food. I sent my husband to get the food and when he got to the restaurant they wanted him to pay for the food. And argued that I didn't order the all star and they weren't going to replace the missing food. I will never eat at that waffle house again. As I payed $30 + dollars for missing food. Very...

I can't say enough of how horrible this place is! 3rd time in a couple of months we have had to leave without being so much as said hey to. There was only 2 tables with people at them, 2 men at the bar and one the server took an order from. After taking that order she turned look right at us and then told the cook. I'm going to sit down I'm tired! We can blame it on Covid all we want Lavonia Waffle house! But fact if the matter this is nothing new for y'all!

Do better! If you can take time to say you are sitting down. You can take time to acknowledge customers after they have been standing next to you for 10 minutes.

We may have spent more time going to Waffle house off exit 19B and used more gas. But it was WAY better food and faster friendlier service. They had 3 employees and atleast 28 customers. 19 of which were drunk and they still were able to get the food out in timely manner.

On July 3, 2018, I was traveling on interstate I-85 near Lavonia, Georgia. I had road fatigue after many hours of driving, and so I decided to pull into Waffle House for a cup of coffee and breakfast. The coffee tasted very bland. I mentioned this to the waitress, her reply was that the coffee was standard Waffle House Coffee. One does not expect gourmet coffee from a roadside café, but when the coffee is far worse than coffee served at a fast food restaurant, then you know that it’s not worth drinking. I say to Waffle House corporate management, do a better job at purchasing coffee. Try eating the food at Waffle House and you will instantly know what I mean. Obviously I’m not a fan of Waffle House but late at night when you need some basic grub and coffee there aren’t many choices.
