Our sandwiches tasted good, but with only one other person in line in front of us (ordering one sandwich) we waited nearly 10 minutes before being asked for our order. Three employees and it took at least 20-25 minutes to make six sandwiches (only two were footlongs and only two were toasted). The third of five sandwiches was cold by the time we finally got to eat. I asked for tomatoes on my sandwich and was told “we’re out of tomatoes” it was only 2pm. Thankfully, one employee did go in the back and came back with a container of tomatoes and said they were hiding. When we asked for a footlong pretzel we were told “we don’t have pretzels today.” No explanation or apology, just a fact. Weird. I usually get cookies, but the cookie case was completely full and every cookie was way beyond the golden stage, extremely overcooked and dry. After filling fountain sodas I asked the lady behind the counter for lids, as the medium lids were all out and she just looked at me dumbfounded. Thankfully, the same guy who had found the tomatoes came out and found lids for our drinks. He seemed to be the most helpful employee, but wasn’t wearing any sort of Subway uniform. Come to think of it, I don’t the lady was either. In summary, poor customer service with no consideration of our time, overcooked or unavailable food, and we definitely went away certain we won’t...
Read moreWe ordered online and waited the 20 minutes they estimated to pick up our order. When we arrived the only employee, James, was sitting outside smoking directly next to the front door watching videos on his phone. My car filled with his cigarette smoke, which was probably the least unpleasant part of the visit.
James was so busy relaxing and smoking outside, he never noticed our order come in. He offered to make the order but I wasn't interested anymore, mostly because he didn't wash his hands after touching his phone, his cigarette, his mouth, and the door handle before walking over to the line.
When we asked for a refund he raised his voice and said he didn't know how to process a refund but said again that he would make the sandwiches. I'm immune compromised and couldn't risk eating food made by someone with his obvious lack of hygiene.
After a half dozen or so bad experiences with this store failing to fill app orders and waiting days to weeks for a refund, I wasn't going through that again and asked him to call the GM. Things were less than friendly with James at this point and the GM heard him cuss at us over the phone and threaten to call the police because we were asking for a refund for the food he was too busy smoking to make.
Your mileage may vary, but I can do without Subway until I'm near...
Read moreMy wife and I pulled into this Subway to eat lunch and there were two guys. One wearing a red flannel shirt had just gotten out of his red compact car and walked behind the building. There was another male already behind the building in a gray hoodie who appeared to be a Subway employee. We were just about to get out of the car when we saw what appeared to be a drug deal go down. The guy in the gray hoodie handed the other guy something and the guy in the red flannel shirt palmed him something, presumably the money. We both saw it and before I could get it out my wife said, "I think a drug deal just went down. We're not eating here." I said, "Nope, we're not." I saw the exact same thing, what appeared to be a quick drug deal. The guy in the red flannel shirt hurried to his car and got in. I believe he left the motor running. We have eaten here before but yeah no way anymore. If their employees are drug dealers on the side, we are not...
