Zoreida was superb as or server. We have not had someone to be this attentive in years at any restaurant in the city of Atlanta or the suburbs. She smiled and made us feel at home as if we were joining family time. This young lady is going places in the industry because it is clear that she loves her job. Joy oozes from her pores as she attentively provides clear explanations. It is great to know that the manager we spoke with to give her kudos actually recognizes her skills and is proud of her. I can tell you that she scored bigger than the normal top from us and deserves every bit.
This place is full of warmth and then some. We don't partake in alcohol but judging from the extensive bar menu and seeing the drinks live, I could tell that they don't shirk when it comes to bartending. The mocktail we shared was right on point and they were willing to swap ingredients. Talk about customer service! We agreed that this place will be our new favorite hang out for date night.
Update: It's 823/25 and we went back today. Juan was our server and just as before the food and service were phenomenal. Juan also made us feel welcome and like being at home with family. He was attentive to every need and easy to talk to without being overbearing. Whatever training is being provided here, could be applied to many other restaurants and business atmospheres. They have just the right mix of personality, attentiveness and great conversationalist all while maintaining professionalism. Juan is also going places with this company based on ability. A couple of managers visited our table and even though he is UGA and we are die hard G.T. we enjoyed a little back and forth but he took was just amazing in service and attention. Kudos to all!
As for food, this time I had the pork belly taco and I implore you to try it if you are a pork belly lover. It is yummy tender goodness without being too overly porky for all you pork belly lovers. I also had the plantains...omg they were cooked to perfection. I've not had one bad item from the menu. I guess...

We had a party of 30 guests. I am so proud of the server who took care of everyone but to put all 30 people on one person should not ever be a thing. It took us almost 3 hours to complete our meal bc that poor guy had his hands full. Please consider this going forward.
Aside from me, several people had orders completely forgotten about or never received. For example: I ordered a side of rice; never got it.
The other thing: we had all gotten rubber ducks from these cute little flights of shots. As many times as the flights were ordered for various people amongst the party, almost every person was able to obtain a duck. We all stepped outside to get a picture done before everyone left and coming back in, we found that not only were our ducks gone and taken out of our drink glasses, but a drinking glass was shattered across the table. So, not only were nasty fingers in our drinks but someone had left broken glass on the table and supposedly no saw who did this. I brought this up because of how serious of a safety hazard this was but nothing was done. It was excuse after excuse. But 0 responsibility.
We brought this up to the manager but all he did was deflect and defend his staff. His solution was bringing out a free flight of shots and some more ducks but we were way past that. I only wish he had more compassion. But I digress.
Very disappointing considering it does seem like a great place and the food was wonderful. But be careful when hosting a bday. It should’ve never gone that route.
I’d give it another shot but for...
Read moreRreal Tacos in Lawrenceville is my new go to place for good Mexican food. This was my first time dining at Rreal Tacos and it did not disappoint. As soon as we parked the car I knew we were in for a good time. The outside and entrance to Rreal Tacos was in full blown Halloween mode. The outside was decorated with ghouls, goblins werewolf’s and a giant spider. Inside was just as amazing with dim lighting, spider webs, hanging body parts, a life sized animated Michael Meyers and other scary characters placed throughout the restaurant. The walls were covered with all kinds of spooky pictures. Now about the food. We started with drinks. A Pineapple Guava Margarita and a Premium Margarita. Both drinks were very good. We ordered the Trio Appetizers that came with chips, delicious salsa, warm queso and fresh guacamole. The appetizers were delicious. My daughter had the Elote and an Asada Taco and I had a Carmitas Taco and a Pork Belly Taco. OMG…..we both agreed that these were some of the best tacos we’ve ever eaten in any restaurant. Chocked full of flavorfully seasoned meat and topped with the usual onions and cilantro. I was so full I could only eat one taco. Marco our server was absolutely amazing. He was polite, friendly, had a great smile and frequently stopped by checking on our needs. Thank you Marcos! With good food and reasonable prices Rreal Tacos is definitely...
