Terrible customer service and a complete lack of technology for what will be 2020 soon. I personally came into the city Hall to set up my gas services for my new address. Note I have already had automatic payment at my previous address and purchased a new home. After speaking with a representative he informed me that everything was transferred and my automatic payment would continueas well .We never received a letter nor did we received notice and are gas was hut off without any indication, phone call, email and/or mail from the city Hall. It is disappointing to see a city Charge an additional re connecting V without informing homeowners properly of any services that have not been up-to-date. Got a tax bill over the weekend. I had questions concerning the notice and called the number listed. It was an answering machine only, could not even leave a message. Attempted to contact city hall directly, again only answering machines. I wonder if the city has any actual employees or are they all out of the office. Perhaps I can pay the tax notice like that also that just repeats the number but does not go anywhere. Been having another issue where the city refuses to pickup recycle. This past spring they went six weeks without picking up the recycle. Six weeks ago they went a month without picking up the recycling. Trying to renew our Occupational Tax Certificate is proving to be just as hard as it was to obtain in the first place. They NEVER answer the phone but when I walk in they are always sitting there goofing off with one another. Emails sent to the email address that was listed in a letter I received from them in December bounce back. Ive literally called from outside their door getting no answer and walking in to find no customers in there. They are the most unhelpful people I've ever encountered. I will say the girl who had a birthday on Valentine’s day was very helpful. Just sucks she wasn't available today when I had to go back.
