We placed our order with Top Shelf Cabinet in the summer of 2024. While our experience with the sales team was positive, the process afterward was frustrating and filled with issues.

First, not all of our materials were delivered. We had to make countless calls just to track down the missing items, and in the end, we had to drive over two hours round trip to their warehouse to pick up the remaining materials ourselves. Even after that, we were still missing shelves for a couple of cabinets for months. Despite repeated follow-ups, when we finally received them, they were the wrong size, forcing us to cut them ourselves to make them work.

The installation process was another headache. When we scheduled with the install team, they simply didn’t show up. It took multiple trips before they eventually completed the work. To make matters worse, there was damage, and we are still trying to get Top Shelf to fix it.

Then came the countertops—which were completely incorrect in both color and size. Once again, it took persistent follow-ups and unnecessary delays to get this corrected.

Top Shelf is great at selling and collecting payment, but their follow-through leaves much to be desired. While we are happy with our new kitchen, we are still waiting for the damage to be repaired. We didn’t want to leave a negative review, but as of February 2025, they are still dragging their feet on these final issues. Please take the time to read this review before you consider working with top shelf cabinets. I ordered cabinets and countertops from top shelf, my total bill was well over $10,000. Upon delivery I was shorted 4 cabinets causing the install team to have to make another trip to do install.. after install was completed I had a total of 4 doors that were completely warped with a bend so bad the center of the door would rub when you opened them and also hit before the rubber stops would when you close them. On top of the warped doors, the wrong crown molding was installed on the cabinets. Top shelf has sent an individual out five or six separate times over the past 6-7 months now to “fix” the issues and has failed miserably and done everything but fix the problems and has only made them worse by scratching and causing damage to other doors, installing crooked handles and not showing up with all the parts he has needed to finish the job. As well as now not returning phone calls or text. I have been promised things would have been taken care of multiple times, and now cannot even get a response or return phone call. My original order was placed almost 1 year ago and still do not have cabinets finished. I paid everything in cash only to get an unfinished project and poor quality work. I started looking into replacing my countertop at the beginning of 2025. I went onto tje Layton store where I was met by Eli one of the salesman. He was very professional and very patient with me. He put together designs several times until I decided what I would do.He would patiently check back with me from the very beginning to May 2025. He was very good at listening to what I would like and then would offer suggestions that I hadn't thought of. He came down and did measurements for my new kitchen. He was very professional and respectful. Our remodel started the end of May. Our cabinets,pantries and countertop was ordered. At the beginning of July the delivery men brought the to my home. They were friendly and very professional. The first set of cupboards were installed and the installer that came to our home has now become a friend. I thought the price for the cabinets and countertop was a great price and quality. Eli has been a great support throughout this whole process. I thought it would be really simple to pick out what I wanted but found out there is always more to just picking out the colors. I've told many friends and family about how good they are to work with. I love how it turned out....
