Kohl's charge card users BEWARE..... My mother has a Kohl's charge card and is kinda old school (dont like using online accounts because computers are confusing to her). When she moved a few years ago, in order to ensure that her Kohl's card statement would be mailed to her new address, she physically went a Kohl's store in her new neighborhood and had them change her address in the system. Little did she know that the system never actually updated her address. She discovered the problem a few months later and went to the Leander store and had them change the address again. The system still NEVER updated her address, only this time my mother was not so lucky and did not discover the issue until a small purchase she made a year ago (yes she forgot about that $25 purchase) accumulated over $300 in late fees and interest and was sent to collections. When she called Kohl's customer service about the debt, she found out that after two attempts to change the address associated with her card, the system still never updated her address (so she never received any statements in the mail at her new address). After Kohl's own Collections Department changed the address for the third time in the system, the system still did not update the new address. It took a phone call to Kohl's Complaint Department before the system finally updated my mom's new address. At this point the damage is done and my mom has no choice but to pay the late fees and interest. I don't know what is wrong with the system but if you have a Kohl's charge card and is like my mom who depends on statements, BEWARE.....Definitely check and recheck with Kohl's to ensure that the system has the correct addresses. However, I must give a shout out to the Leander store manager who was helping my mom resolve the issue with Kohl's HQ. I acknowledge that the issue is with the system and Kohl's upper management really need to take a...

Super sad experience. Lisa, or April can’t remember her name. Lady with glasses behind the Sephora area made me feel super uncomfortable. Nobody was around at first so I took a cologne set I found around the store, in search of a price scanner. I couldn’t find one so I brought it back to the Sephora area where I was met by this angel who was very loud and rude trying to “ assist me”. She started following me around and calling her associates over all watching me as I wandered the store in search of my wife. When I eventually built up the courage to ask for help with the item I initially went in for she yelled at me again for the third time in our interaction. While completing my purchase I let her know she made me feel super uncomfortable, she ignored me completely attempting to spark up a conversation with another employee standing near by. She ended it all by apologizing, because she knew I saw it all unfold. She was assuming I was trying to steal or something. Even making comments out loud “ He’s just walking back and forth.” “ not happening today.” As she has her phone out. Horrible feeling as she’s on her phone. I’m expecting a visit from the cops so I’m trying to stick around but it’s a horrible feeling to be treated like that. I live out here so I’ll definitely be back. I just hope I never deal...
Read moreOverpriced, but they seduce you in with deals like: 20% off plus $30 in Kohl's Cash if you spend$50± in three days or less, with an additional $45 in kohl's cash you can convert to a Kohls gift card if you open a Kohls account at the same time. You are supposed to think "Wow! I just saved a ton of money!"
Do the math. You actually just paid $40 for a pair of shoes that you could have bought anywhere else for $35. Seriously. Do the math. It's a brilliant shell game. They create the illusion of amazing discounts. But you're still slightly paying more for the same thing you could have bought at any other store without all the game show excitement.
I bought three pairs of jeans there last week. After all the game show complexity, they told me that I just saved $100! Actually, I could have bought them for the same or less price at Burlington Coat Factory. I did the numbers, because I was actually convinced that I really did save a bundle. But no. I was just dazzled by enormous artificial discounts.
Don't be so gullible. They're overpriced, and their housewares are available at Tuesday Morning...
