Five Guys — Restaurant in Lebanon

First off, I will start with how delicious the burgers are here! But what I really want to focus on is the amazing staff that represents this burger joint. I am from Montreal, Canada and was driving down to Boston for a weekend get away, and decided to stop at Five Guys in Lebanon as a small pit stop to eat and stretch out before continuing the drive to Boston. I arrived at my hotel in Boston around 11:30 pm on Friday July 22nd, when I realized I had left my purse on the back of my chair 2 hours out in Lebanon. I quickly called Five Guys and was told they found my purse and had it in a safe and I could drive back in the morning to retrieve it. Drove back two hours the following morning to get my purse which nothing was missing from. My purse was leather from Italy, and inside was 400 US dollars, my complete wallet, passport, and a pouch with all my jewellery. Rude, argumentative staff. I was in tonight with a my super hungry toddler, and husband. I have celiac and an allergy to wheat. So I order the non allergy stuff first, then the allergy and fries last. I waited for our order and discovered that the fries were in the bag with the non allergy wheat containing burger. The staff spent 10 minutes arguing with me that the fries were gluten free refusing to listen to what I was saying about cross contamination and how that ruins anything gluten free and you can make someone sick or kill them. Just rude arguing in front of lots of other customers. The customer is always right especially in the case of a serious allergy. Replace the food and don’t argue ever. I was always taught if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all....you see there ive allready said too much.....how many bad reviews do you need before a change is sublimated?? so area managers district managers regional managers what so ever your corporate title is you need to seriously overhaul this store its always dirty when we go there there's junk on the tables and the manager has the worst energy he is absolutley horrible around people.might i recommend send him to the artic to clean penguin poop..that is job perfect for someone with a disdain for people..I'm actually shocked that the doors are still open at this location and that you have not already stepped in as corporate ambassadors and cleaned it up..instead of allowing this negative behavior ...shame on you district or area managers...
