I'm honestly not impressed and am somewhat surprised at the number of people commenting on how great the food and service are, as I had literally the exact opposite experience on both fronts. I ordered a variety platter so I could try several different things, and pretty much everything except the pickles was practically tasteless. The falafel was burnt and so flavorless that even the tahini sauce couldn't redeem it, while the hummus tasted like nothing so much as plain chickpeas that had been pureéd with a little olive oil poured on top (not even especially good olive oil at that). The dolma were served cold, which isn't a problem in and of itself, but they weren't even as good as the dolma you can get on the cold mezze bar at any decent grocery store, and the veins in the leaves were so thick they were nearly inedible. The meat pies were cold and were served with plain yogurt, and definitely weren't worth the price (three bite sized pies for 5 bucks). And finally, the service was very unfriendly--I asked about their kibbeh because their online ordering said it was vegetarian and in the same breath said it had ground beef, so I wanted to clarify. They said it had ground beef, which I suspected would be the case, so I said that was no problem but they may want to double check their website since most people may not already be familiar with it, and they were extremely rude and said "kibbeh always has meat". I hadn't even ordered it, and explained that it was totally no problem and that I just wanted to let them know about the discrepancy since I had expected that it would likely have meat, but they just continued being rude.
If you are looking for just another "Mediterranean" restaurant then it may be fine, but if you are looking for food that tastes like anything remotely resembling actual Lebanese food, you may want to give this one a pass and make the drive to one of the many more authentic options available in Northern Virginia. I am giving it three stars only because it seemed fairly clean and my order was at least ready quickly, but I sincerely doubt I'll go back there again. I only went because I had been craving falafel, and considering that theirs is so flavorless, I can't see myself...

Service - Double Five Stars The service was excellent. Staff members were attentive, to not just us, but other customers. They shared in a team approach to provide outstanding support to one another and their customers, while also providing excellent service for people coming in for carry out orders.
Food - Infinite Five Stars It's not often when two people dine out and don't talk during their meal. In our case, it was not because there was nothing to talk about, but instead because the food was SO GOOD. Warm pita, buttery smooth hummus, farm fresh vegetables in the fattoush salad, tender, flavorful chicken and beef shawarma. Everything was seasoned to PERFECTION. Cold items were cold and hot items were hot. Don't get me started on the portions -- Hello leftovers!! Tomorrow there will be a mad race to see who gets to them first.
This is now my number ONE place to go to place for a true, authentic experience for delicious, made from scratch Mediterranean food. Put "TASTE OF LEBANON" on your destination stop for a wonderful and quaint restaurant if you are planning a trip to the Leesburg Premium outlet mall. Heck, just drive here for the food. (.) PERIOD!!
Sorry,...
Read moreAnyone who has given this place 4 or 5 stars just doesn't know the definition of good Lebanese or Mediterranean food. Restaurant was empty on a Saturday at 1220pm, never a good sign. However, it had vegetarian options, so we chose it over the bar next door. Our orders Kofta kabob - dry, not soft at all. Came with rice and cucumber, lettuce, and tomato salad on side Tahini sauce - charged $2.49 and it tasted like rotten milk and we told the server and he just brought another one of the same garbage and charged for it. We didn't touch it Greek salad - not bad, dressing could have had a bit more flavor Gyro - not bad, but I get better gyros than this for $7 in Maryland Lentil soup - cold, had to send back to the kitchen and they clearly just popped it in the microwave. Whoever said this is the best lentil soup needs to come to my house...haha Kids chicken tenders - good, served with fries and ketchup Falafel - meh. Go to trader Joe's and put those in the air fryer...better than this place Fries - crinkle cut, nice and hot with good flavor. This was probably our favorite thing on the menu
Then he charged a 20% automatic gratuity for a party of 4 adults and 2 kids at this take-out-like hole in the wall place. What??
Needless to say, will not...
