Do not switch to this cell phone company. They are liars and do not follow through with what they promised. They reeled us in thinking we were going to save money and it was supposed to be an easy quick and simple switch from one carrier to the next. But that is not true. We are members of Costco, and we mainly shop in the American Fork area. While we were walking through one of the AT&T employees got My Husband to stop. Normally we walk right by not paying attention. However, we have been paying over $300 for our Verizon bill. They offered to pay off my husband's cell phone, my two kids' cell phones, his watch and all we had to do was pay off my laptop. The employee was misleading they make you think they will pay the carrier off promptly. However, that was not the case. Not one time did the employee tell us we were going to have to come up with over $2000 to pay off what we owed Verizon. Then they would send us a Visa gift card in the mail. It was one crap show after another. My Husband sent over all the information to AT&T multiple times. If we knew it was going to be this big of a hassle to transfer over we would not have sent our cell phones in to AT&T. If we had not sent in the cell phones, we couldâve canceled the transfer easily. But once you send the cell phones in youâre screwed. That is where the biggest problem came in. Once we sent our cell phones in everything they told us was a lie. That is when we found out we had to wait 60 days before they would send us the Visa gift card to pay off Verizon. We had Verizon harassing us threatening to send us to collections or pay off the balance of over $2000. My husband had to pull a loan out of his 401(k) cause we could not afford this to go into collections. We were in the honeymoon stage after we left Costco believing the employee with AT&T. We were so excited to save $200 a month to transfer. In the end, we have not gotten our full amount that they owe us which is over $600. They give us the runaround they never answer our questions. We can never get hold of a live person. My husband posted a review for AT&T and the Corporate Office got hold of us. We thought this was going to change everything and we were going to get our money back and everything was going to get better. Oh boy were we wrong! The corporate lady told My Husband she would email us the information and she would figure out what was going on and give us a call back. Once again, we were lied to our faces. The lady from the Corporate Office never called us back. We never heard from them again. We are still getting the runaround to this day. We have been with AT&T for over 60 days. We cannot get our money back and itâs been the biggest mistake of our lives. Do not go through AT&T, do not switch from your current carrier. They are lying to you guys. We still have not gotten our money and every time we call in they have no idea whatâs going on. All we want is the money they promised they would give us. We understand weâre in a contract so we will have to deal with that. This is beyond ridiculous. They do not follow through with what they say. It sucks because we absolutely love Costco and we will still go through Costco. But I wish Costco would pay attention to their vendors they partner with and see what AT&T is doing. We will be canceling the AT&T service once the contract is up. The service is not even that good either. We are out around $600 and we spent over $2000 of money we did not plan to spend. If we knew we would have to field $2,000, we knew we didn't have that kind of money and would have never gone through with it. We ran into the sales guy after we learned it was a reimbursement and he acted as if he knew that and told us. Which he did not! he misled us so he could get the sale. I should have listened to my gut feeling as I always did before. But after saying no 3 times he finally fished me by giving misleading information for...
Read moreI should start by saying that I NEVER give a 5 star review. I can count on one hand the number of 5 star reviews I have given. That being saidâŚ
We walked in to AT&T after being treated like a ânumberâ once again at T-Mobile. From the second we walked in we were treated like human beings again.
We had been with T-Mobile for 15 years and weâre continually shafted by employees. I can remember three good experiences we had with T-Mobile sales associates in that time. The day that we walked in to AT&T we went in to or talked to three separate T-Mobile stores in person or on the phone. All three told us that they were âSales Associatesâ hired to âGet more money out of their customersâ and that our problem had to be resolved through customer service on the phone. Those were their exact words. No joke.
T-Mobile continually gives new customers a better deal. We were looking to trade in our iPhone 11âs and switch to the iPhone 13âs on their current promotion. On this promotion - over the course of the contract - new customers would pay $1,000 less over the 30 months than we would as loyal, 15 year customers of T-Mobile. They literally told us âWe already have your businessâ.
We worked with Nathan and Natalie at AT&T. It was an amazing experience. We also walked out with 5 brand new iPhones on trade in, 2 Apple Watchâs and a smaller bill than we had on T-Mobile.
The coverage on AT&T is definitely better than that of what we had on T-Mobile. 4G devices on T-Mobile are being pushed out with their overwhelming acceleration to 5G. Itâs not worth it to even try. AT&T covers us in places I have NEVER had service on T-Mobile. The Canyons of Utah county, covered. The T-Mobile dead spots (like Costco and IFA), covered. They have a better product, at a better price, and leave you feeling better than when you walked in.
Overall, our experience with AT&T was leaps and bounds more positive than any we had ever had with T-Mobile. I wish we could provide a high rating than 5 stars.
I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking or wanting to switch to a new carrier, especially one coming...
Read moreOne of the worst customer service experiences in my lifetime. I went in a signed up under my company cooperate discount. Showed my work email and company ID card. 3 months in I realize I'm not getting the discount (they told me it would take a few months for my bill to normalize). Okay not a big deal at this point. I go in to the store to get this corrected, one of the sales reps remembered me. They got it corrected in their system and said they would credit the 3 months. Okay great. Another 3 months go by and still no discount. I go into the store again and they confirm I was not getting the discount but that they would start it now. I asked them to credit the difference of the 6 months I missed now. They refused because they had no record of me ever applying a company discount... WHAT!? I spoke with the store manager and he didn't care about my situation at all. He said he could start the discount now but would not credit the 6 months. "There was nothing more he could do." I was very patient and cordial throughout the whole process. His answer and attitude completely blew my mind. I asked how much for me to cancel my service. He gladly told me and had the attitude of don't let the door hit you on the way out. I canceled a few days later. I didn't want anything to do with AT&T after...
