I'm finally using my Christmas gift card for Susan’s Treasures. This is my first time at Susan’s Treasures, a delightful specialty gift store upstairs at the West Shore Farmer’s Market. It's an excellent place for hostess gifts, unique birthday gifts, Mother’s Day gifts, and Christmas gifts. Or a treat for yourself.

As a candle lover, I spotted a brand I was unfamiliar with: “Rewined.” Made in South Carolina, the brand uses soy-based wax and recycled glass—a great start for an excellent, sustainable product. Susan offers a loyalty program called VIP Text Club. To join, scan the card provided when you make your purchase. Of course, I joined because I will need more of the two Rewined candles I purchased. Love this store! Susan, Nancy, and their staff are always very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Susan personally helped me choose a one-of-a-kind necklace for my mother's birthday. Even though it was only a $30 purchase, she treated me as if I were buying the most expensive item in the store. She asked about my mother's likes and dislikes, and helped me find the perfect piece while staying in my budget. Then she gift wrapped it for me! This may not be a big deal to some people, but as a single guy working a lot of hours running a small business, it's great to know that I have a place close by where I can find exactly what I need and walk out with it ready to hand to the person I'm giving it to. My mother and I stopped in quickly to do some browsing. First off I never seem to get a chance to spend time in Susan’s Treasures. So many fantastic ideas for gift giving, not to mention personal gifts. I picked up a necklace from the samkas line and love it!!!! The staff were warm and friendly but the merchandise sold itself allowing little assistance needed. Can’t wait to get back into Susan’s Treasures for my next shopping experience. ...
