I realize this detail is more than the average reader cares about, it is more for an upper level manager to see and realize what a liability these kinds of employees are for their brand.
Some kid named Dakota answered the phone when I called to ask about availability of tax forms since the website was inconsistent, incorrect, and not helpful. He said they had the W2 forms but no W3's. I told him they usually come together as a packet since both are required. He didn't seem to get it, so I asked if there was someone else I could speak with. He was apparently also just as clueless when it came to using the phone system since I could hear him berating me to another employee when he thought I was on hold. Of course the female employee to whom he was speaking was laughing as well. They eventually just hung up on me. I called back to speak to a manager and a woman named Kat eventually confessed she was "one of the managers." She later said she was actually the store director and building manager. (Not sure why she was so evasive to begin with.) I gave 2 stars rather than 1 since she actually knew what I was asking for and was able to quickly tell me they had what I needed. However, no apology was offered when I told her about Dakota and the other employee who were making rude comments about me when I could still hear them. When I got to the store a man with "Sales Manager" on his badge rang me up but acted ignorant of the event of 30 minutes prior. I asked him where Dakota was, but he just said, "He's around here somewhere." I followed by asking it that was him at the print counter, and, incredulously, his answer was, "It might be" when he knew darn well it was. When I approached Dakota at the print desk and pointed out to him what a W3 was, he ignored me. His lack of professionalism was matched only by his lack of grooming skills. Read moreThis is to recognize the excellent customer service and expression of humanitarian sympathy of Brandy Saleh, Print and Client Service Supervisor. While experiencing a very tough time of my wife's passing and making preparation for her funeral and burial services, Brandy stepped up most notably and without hesitation to help me. I created the art to print sophisticated funeral programs which included a magazine cover, obituary, and a lot of personal photos. All completed programs were needed before services start the next morning. However, we discovered that I was given a misquote the previous day and that all work would cost 3-times the original quoted price. Brandy got to work and applied a few discount coupons which cut the overall cost in half but still above the original quoted price. As the day went on and Brandy worked to complete the job, she discovered unexpected technical issues with machine and paper while trying to meet my requirements. Brandy read my wife's story and the work I was trying to complete and concluded that there was much love and effort to make this happen and she really wanted to make this special for everyone. So she upgraded my paper stock, assured the quality, manually bound the programs, and got all the work done on time while throwing in a few extras. She was very "RUDE" and unaccommodating. My online printing order was messed up by the person who printed it wrong size. But thats not the issue here, people can make mistakes.
When I reached the store to pickup my order, I told the Printing Manager that my order is printed wrong sized, can you reprint it as per my order ? The Printing Manager said "I cannot magically just print it right, you will have to come back after 3 hours as I have other orders to take care of." I said but my order can be reprinted now while Iam at the store, I can wait. She said no you will have to come back again after 3 hours. And then while i was still at the counter she started helping customers standing behind me. Completely ignoring me like I was not there.
I said this is not fair to me as my ordered print needs to printed correctly as per my instructions and it can be printed in 5 minutes. She said "I cannot just print it magically, I will have to change the premium paper roll, and I have other customers to help. You will have to come back after 3 hours."
Then I asked her to cancel my order and refund me so I can get it printed at some other store. She than cancelled my order...
