This store out of all locations in the DFW and surrounding cities & areas is the worst customer service. I and a business owner and shop at all the hobby lobby stores around from Plano throughout Dallas to Fort Worth. I honestly don't know how the management is called to front for customer service and never comes to front. The door lady is not any help whatsoever either as she must be a back up assistant or something because the young lady on register had to keep asking her to help with my situation. And she acted like she knew nothing too. I requested a discount on some stackable gift boxes from gift department due to them all being broken on lid sides and scratched up all over. So I had to wait over 15 minutes standing at register as the door lady kept instructing other customers to just come to the cashier where I was having to wait so long. Totally unacceptable to do this. And since manager never came the called another employee with a ton of badges on as she took a long time to come to register too. Then she apologized for taking so long 🙄 😩. This store has the worst customer service. I will never return to it and share with everyone to avoid this store. All I can say after this terrible experience thus store shouldn't even be open to the public its that bad. And restrooms 🚻 are filthy some stalls out of service and handicap ♿️ was and that's what I needed to use. 1 other stall was full of feces overfilled with toilet paper and didn't have water to flush it. That's 2 stalls Totally out of service and the 3rd stall was usable but so dirty to use. Hope this bring attention to corporate in Lewisville Texas. I will be calling them on Monday. 1 more thing I'm tax exempt customer and filled out the form after I was finally able to pay. And forgot to put my zip code in Plano on form so the door lady comes running out to ask me for zip code. I was like really 😕 mam you stop me in cross walk to my handicap ♿️ parking spot to ask for my zip code when the store could type in address to see zip code for address. The city and address was on form. Just nonsense 🙄 everyone coming out and cars passing store directly in front of exit was staring at us to see what was going on. So unprofessional and...
Read more7-29-24: I had the BEST experience at Hobby Lobby today! 🌟 From the moment we walked in, my wife and I were greeted with a warm and friendly smile 😊. The store is always so clean and well-organized, making it easy to find everything my wife needs for her crafting projects 🧶🎨. The aisles are wide, and there’s plenty of space to navigate, even with a cart 🛒.
My wife was on the hunt for some unique fabric for a quilting project, and the selection did not disappoint! The variety of colors, patterns, and textures is absolutely amazing 🌈. The staff in the fabric department were super helpful and knowledgeable 🧵. They went out of their way to help me find the perfect fabric and even gave me some great tips on how to best use it in my project ✂️.
The checkout process was a breeze too! The cashier was quick and efficient while still taking the time to chat with me and make sure I had found everything I needed 💁♀️. And let’s not forget the amazing sales! I scored some incredible deals on some shelves I needed to display some of my collectibles and this week shelves are half off.
I also appreciated the uplifting and inspirational music playing in the background 🎶. It made the shopping experience even more pleasant 🕊️ and enjoyable.
Overall, Hobby Lobby is my wife’s go-to place, but sometimes I find things I need as well 🧩🖍️. I always leave with a smile on my face and a cart full of goodies 🛍️. Thank you, Hobby Lobby, for another fantastic shopping experience! I can't wait to start on my new projects and return for more...
Read moreGreatly disappointed by my experience overall, and sheer lack of customer service from the cashier, to the holiday inventory stocker, to the Manager himself. After selling us a Christmas Tree, one of the workers informed the cashier they'd already sold the display, despite us having pulled the last ticket for the tree. It's time for Hobby Lobby to update their POS/Inventory Management to avoid being able to charge a customer for an item that doesn't exist. Better yet, why not try limited displays sales for customers to a 24 hour window to ensure someone with an actual ticket for an item isn't still shopping in your store? On top of this happening, why sell an item to a customer without a ticket--is this not your store's policy during the holiday months? Additionally, the cashier made no effort to contact any other locations and verify if they had this tree in stock, and when the store Manager came to validate the refund for us, he informed us their "store phones don't make long distance calls." I get on my cell and begin calling all other DFW locations--they're all sold out of Tree "Z" just so y'all know. Very frustrating evening...and all for a silly Christmas Tree. We will definitely be limiting our purchases with Hobby Lobby...
