Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Lexington

I rarely give bad reviews but needed to share this experience. My friend and I ordered pizza from Donatos tonight. It took more than 1 hour for the pizza to leave the store. We then waited for another hour and still hadn’t received the pizza. When we called, they told us the pizza had been delivered but we never received any sort of notification despite signing up for the text and email notifications. Additionally, we had asked to be notified upon delivery. I live in a large apartment complex and we explicitly left instructions for the driver to call upon arrival as you cannot get into my building without a pass and because we obviously didn’t want the pizza left outside at a large apartment complex, in the freezing cold, with 0 notification. We went outside to search for the pizza and never could find it. So, after a 2 hour wait time, we still hadn’t received the pizza and were never notified about the alleged delivery. I hadn’t ever had Donatos pizza before and still haven’t since we didn’t receive it. Will not use...

Obviously this business does not close at 1:30 a.m. because I tried to call at 12:30 and seen as I only live a couple of blocks from the store I show up to see that every light is off and nobody's working there at 12:30. If you're not going to stay open the time that you post online and at the store then it needs to be made known and reposted.

Cant seem to get my wings well done no matter if im picking up or getting delivered and even after posting this month ago and picking up an order tonight which is June 22nd 2021 they still can't manage to get them done or tell the truth because I told him I would check them in the car and all they're doing is covering them up with more wing sauce so you don't see that you're not well done. Does owner should really hold his business to a higher standard for not only closing his store early but not making orders the way they are requested whether it's online or in person. This will be the last time I order from the store and I will start ordering from the Hatland store...

If I could have given any less stars I would. Given the amount of reviews that are on here, that complains it seems management or owners can't find any decent help every staff member I've delt with the last year has been terrible, just incompetent about anything, my order is 3/5 messed up and have to call to replace, and when I do call I'm not compensated the amount paid and then they expect me to come get it. Piss poor of hiring judgement of managers and employees. Should really re-evaluate w everyone working, this won't be a business long running like this. I wouldnt pay attention to any good comments about this place for they are probably buddy buddy with owner. I really like the food quality but as far as people and knowledge of what they are doing and coustmer service. I wouldnt want these people serving my dog even If they worked as a group they...
